Patriot League Announces Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week (4.14.25)

Lehigh received two honors; Army West Point, Loyola Maryland and Navy picked up one apiece

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh collected two of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards when the League office announced honors on Monday. Army West Point, Loyola Maryland and Navy received one accolade apiece.
 
Army West Point junior Allison Reilly claimed Patriot League Attacker of the Week for the fourth consecutive week and the fifth time this season. The Sayville, N.Y. native contributed eight points on six goals and two assists in the Black Knights’ 17-12 win over No. 20/23 Navy.
 
Loyola Maryland senior Chase Boyle collected her third Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week of the season and ninth of her career with a League single-game record 22 draw controls in the Greyhounds’ 20-14 win over Boston University. She also added eight points on seven goals and one assist.
 
Mountain Hawks’ sophomore Camilla Madonna collected her first Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after tallying four caused turnovers and two ground balls in a 12-10 win over Holy Cross. Lehigh senior Julia DeLitta received Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper Player of the Week for the first time this season after recording a .565 save percentage with 13 saves in the Mountain Hawks’ win over the Crusaders.  
 
Navy freshman attack Alyssa Chung set a Patriot League record with her fifth straight Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week award. Chung’s sixth rookie of the week honors is one behind Navy’s Kelly Larkin and Loyola Maryland’s Livy Rosenzweig for the League’s single-season record. She posted three points on two goals and one assist in the Mids’ 17-12 loss vs. No. 24/20 Army West Point.
 
American junior midfielder Reagan Murdoch, Army West Point junior midfielder Brigid Duffy and junior goalkeeper Lindsey Serafine, Bucknell junior attack Megan Krestinski, Colgate senior midfielder Lucy Licata and junior attack Caroline Panzirer, Lehigh sophomore attack Gracie Shoup and Loyola Maryland senior attack Georgia Latch all earned honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
The Patriot League women’s lacrosse players of the week were selected in a vote by each school’s women’s lacrosse athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
Allison Reilly, Army West Point, Jr., Attack, Sayville, N.Y./Sayville
*Reilly finished with a game-high eight points on six goals and two assists to lead No. 24/20 jArmy West Point to a 17-12 win against No. 20/23 Navy on Saturday.  
*The Sayville, N.Y. native scored two first-quarter goals to help the Black Knights jump out to a 7-0 lead before her three second-half goals helped hold off a comeback attempt by the Mids.   
*The junior attack’s two assists helped her climb atop of Army’s leaders list with 88.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Chase Boyle, Loyola Maryland, Sr., Midfielder, Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven Regional
*Boyle broke a Patriot League single-game record with 22 draw controls in No. 16/15 Loyola Maryland’s 20-14 victory over Boston University, surpassing former Greyhound Taylor Van Thof’s mark of 21, set in 2017.
*The senior midfielder tallied a team-high eight points on seven goals and one assist. She leads the League with 56 goals.
*She added two ground balls and two caused turnovers to help the Greyhounds improve to 7-0 in League play.  
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Camilla Madonna, Lehigh, So., Defender, Ashburn, Va./Paul IV Catholic
*Madonna led the Mountain Hawks’ defense with four caused turnovers and two ground balls in a 12-10 victory over Holy Cross.
*The sophomore defender held the Crusaders’ Sally Zinsner to one goal on seven shots.
*She was part of a Lehigh defense unit that held the Crusaders more than four goals under their season average in League play.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Julia DeLitta, Lehigh, Sr., Goalkeeper, Mamaroneck, N.Y./Rye Neck
*DeLitta posted a .565 save percentage with 13 saves to lead Lehigh to a 12-10 victory over Holy Cross for their second straight League win.
*She made nine first-half saves, including eight in the second quarter, to help the Mountain Hawks to a 6-5 halftime lead.
*The senior goalkeeper recorded six ground balls and caused one turnover in the win.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alyssa Chung, Navy, Fr., Attack, Severna Park, Md./Severna Park
*Chung finished with three points on two goals and one assist in the Mids’ loss against No. 24/20 Army West Point.
*The freshman attack scored both her goals in the fourth quarter during a comeback attempt, where Navy outscored the Black Knights, 7-3.
*In League play, Chung is third in the Patriot League with 4.17 goals per game.
 
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Reagan Murdoch, American, Jr., Midfielder, Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon
*Murdoch led American with four goals on six shots. The junior midfielder scored three of her four goals in the second half to aid an Eagles comeback attempt that fell short in an 11-9 loss vs. Bucknell.   
 
Brigid Duffy, Army West Point, Jr., Midfielder, Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury
*Duffy posted nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and four ground balls to help No. 24/20 Army West Point defeat No. 20/23 Navy, 17-12, on Saturday. The junior midfielder helped the Black Knights limit the Mids to 14 shots through three quarters to build a 14-5 advantage. She also added one goal and one assist.
 
Lindsey Serafine, Army West Point, Jr., Goalkeeper, Tabernacle, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy Academy
*Serafine made nine saves to help Army West Point earn a 17-12 victory over No. 20/23 Navy on Saturday. Serafine and the Black Knights’ defense held the Mids to five goals through the first three quarters, with the junior goalkeeper making five saves during the span.
 
Megan Krestinski, Bucknell, Jr., Attack, Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville
*Krestinski posted five points on four goals and one assist to lead Bucknell to an 11-9 victory over American. The junior attacker eclipsed 100 career points in the Bison’s victory. She also added four draw controls and one ground ball.
 
Lucy Licata, Colgate, Sr., Midfielder, Hopkinton, N.H./The Derryfield School
*Licata posted two goals, one assist, nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and one ground ball in Colgate’s 14-13 victory over Lafayette.  
 
Caroline Panzirer, Colgate, Jr., Attack, Katonah, N.Y./John Jay
*Panzirer posted eight points with a season-high six goals and two assists to lead Colgate to a 14-13 victory over Lafayette to improve to 3-3 in League play. The junior attack picked up two ground balls and added one draw control and one caused turnover.
 
Gracie Shoup, Lehigh, So., Attack, Lafayette Hill, Pa./Penn Charter
*Shoup scored a career-high six goals to lead Lehigh to a 12-10 victory over Holy Cross for the Mountain Hawks’ second straight League win. The sophomore attack scored two of Lehigh’s last three goals in the fourth quarter to help preserve the victory. She added two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

*Latch recorded seven points on three goals and four assists in the Greyhounds’ 20-14 victory over BU. The senior attack added four ground balls, three caused turnovers and six draw controls.
