BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland will make its 13th all-time appearance in the NCAA Men's Golf Regionals May 12-14, and the Greyhounds will head to a new site for the tournament.

The Greyhounds learned Wednesday they would be the No. 12 seed at the NCAA Auburn Regional and play at the Auburn University Golf Club with 12 other schools from around the country.

Loyola earned its seventh Patriot League Championship since joining the conference in 2013-14 on Sunday when it regained the team lead on the back nine and held off Holy Cross by a stroke down the stretch.

The victory was Loyola's 24th conference title since 1990 with the first 17 coming as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

The Greyhounds will play at the top-ranked Tigers' home course with them and 11 other teams: Texas A&M, UCLA, SMU, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Purdue, Arkansas Little Rock, TCU, College of Charleston, New Mexico State and USC Upstate.

Play will begin on Monday with 18 holes each day through Wednesday's conclusion.

Auburn University Golf Club was designed by former Tigers golfer Bill Bergin. The 7,300-plus yard, par-72 course opened in 1999 and was renovated in 2022.
