PATRIOT LEAGUE VS. WEEK FOUR OPPONENTS
•Patriot League vs. Ivy League Play Begins: Patriot and Ivy League teams meet 12 times this season. Lafayette hosts defending Ivy League tri-champion Columbia on Friday, with the Leopards holding a 15-0-1 advantage against the Lions in Easton. On Saturday, Holy Cross travels to Yale in a series where the Crusaders have taken three of the last four games. Georgetown heads to Brown in search of its first win against the Bears since 2014.
•Colgate welcomes Fordham in the first League matchup for the two squads. The Raiders and Rams have both started 0-3, with five of the combined six losses coming against FBS or ranked FCS opponents.
•Bucknell hosts Lehigh in its League opener. The Mountain Hawks are 1-0 in League play after a Week One win vs. Richmond. The Bison handed 2024 League champion Lehigh its lone League loss last season.
•Richmond hosts in-state rival VMI in its home opener at Robins Stadium. The Spiders and Keydets meet for the 91st time in series history.

LEHIGH RANKED NO. 10 IN AFCA AND STATS PERFORM POLLS; RICHMOND AND LAFAYETTE RECEIVING VOTES
Lehigh climbed two spots to No. 10 in the AFCA Coaches Poll and remained No. 10 in the Stats Perform Poll after a 35-21 victory at Duquesne in Week Three. Richmond is receiving votes in both polls after a loss vs. ACC opponent UNC on Saturday. Lafayette is receiving votes in the AFCA coaches’ poll after a 42-37 victory at Georgetown to open League play.
LEHIGH’S DEFENSE LEADING THE WAY TO 3-0 START
Lehigh has climbed to No. 10 in the AFCA and Stats Perform Polls behind a defense that has been among the most-stingy in the FCS. The Mountain Hawks have limited opponents to 225.3 yards to rank fourth in the FCS in total defense, and 15.0 points per game, placing seventh in the FCS in scoring defense. The Mountain Hawks have done this by stopping the run, holding opposing offenses to 81.7 yards per game. Lehigh is also 10th in the FCS in red zone defense (.667).
EDWARDS RANKS NO. 1 ON FCS SCORING LEADERBOARD
Lafayette Jr. RB Kente Edwards continued his breakout season, rushing for 255 and four touchdowns in a 42-37 win vs. Georgetown on Sept. 13. Edwards has rushed for seven touchdowns in the Leopards’ past two games to vault him to No. 1 among the FCS scoring leaders, averaging 14.0 points per game. Edwards, who is also third in the FCS in rushing (136.3 ypg), is joined among the FCS top 10 scoring leaders by a pair of Patriot Leaguers. Georgetown So. RB Savion Hart rushed for a pair of scores against the Leopards in Week Three and ranks No. 3 in the FCS, averaging 12.0 points per game. Bucknell Jr. WR Sam Milligan’s four touchdowns during their Week Three win over VMI moved him to No. 9 in the FCS, averaging 10.0 points per game. Milligan also caught a touchdown pass in the Bison’s first game of the season at Air Force.

COLGATE’S SAUNDERS TOPS FCS RECEIVING LISTS
Colgate Sr. WR Treyvhon Saunders became the first Patriot League receiver since Lehigh’s Troy Pelletier in 2015 to record three straight games with double-digit receptions for 100 yards or more. Saunders is first among FCS leaders in receptions per game (11.3), receiving yards per game (155.0) and ninth in touchdown receptions (3). Saunders posted career-highs in receiving yards (223) and touchdown receptions (2) on 13 catches against No. 21/22 Monmouth. He finished with 11 receptions for 105 yards against ACC opponent Syracuse on Sept. 12. He has helped Colgate rank 5th in the FCS in passing offense (301.7).

MILLIGAN CATCHES RECORD FOUR TDS RUCKER IV
Bucknell Jr. WR Sam Milligan matched a Patriot League single-game record with four touchdown receptions from 5th-year QB Ralph Rucker IV in the Bison’s 35-28 victory against VMI. Milligan is the 12th League player to register four touchdown catches in a single game, with Holy Cross’ Justin Shorter and Fordham’s Fotis Kokosioulis most recently accomplishing the feat in 2024.
FORDHAM’S CONWAY BUILDING ON LEAGUE TACKLES RECORD
Fordham Sr. LB James Conway recorded 15 tackles in the Rams’ loss against Stony Brook in Week Three. The Omaha, Neb. native has recorded 52 tackles in three games and more than 100 total tackles in three of his four collegiate seasons. He opened the 2025 campaign on the Buck Buchanan Award Watch List.

BIG-PLAY BACKS LEADING LEAGUE OFFENSES
Four Patriot League RBs rank among the FCS top 15 in rushing yards per carry, aided by a long list of explosive touchdown runs for the backs. Lafayette’s Edwards, the two-time League offensive player of the week, has scores of 78, 70 and 51 yards in the last two weeks, helping the Leopards rank eighth in the FCS with 222.0 rushing yards per game. Lehigh So. RB Jaden Green has multiple touchdown runs of more than 20 yards, while teammate Jr. RB Luke Yoder had a 28-yard score in Week Two, leading the Mountain Hawks to 205.0 rushing yards per game, 13th in the FCS. GU’s Hart had TD runs of 69 and 27 yards in a Week One win vs. Davidson, while the Hoyas have averaged 186.0 rushing yards per game, good for 24th in the nation.

Georgetown Jr., CB Quincy Briggs intercepted two passes in the Hoyas’ 31-20 victory vs. Wagner, while recording at least one interception in GU’s first two games, leading the FCS with 1.0 interception per game. Colgate Jr. DB Tymir Wynn intercepted two passes in the season-opener against Monmouth, while Lehigh So. DB Mekhai Smith recorded one interception vs. Richmond and another at Duquesne. Wynn and Smith are tied for sixth in the FCS with 0.67 interceptions per game.
