HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior quarterback Zach Osborne’s 13-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Reed Swanson late in the second quarter started a 21-0 run to lead Colgate to a 44-21 victory over Fordham in their League opener.
*Osborne completed 13-of-17 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 45 yards and a score on eight carries.
*Junior wide receiver Winston Moore caught Osborne’s first pass of the game and took it 78 yards for a score. Moore finished with four receptions for 126 yards.
*Senior wide receiver Treyvhon Saunders became the Raiders’ career receptions leader, moving to seventh among Patriot League career leaders (223), finishing with nine receptions for 126 yards and a 35-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
*Raiders’ junior quarterback Jake Stearney played in the second half, finishing 9-of-16 for 112 yards and one touchdown pass. He also carried six times for 28 yards and a score.
*Sophomore running back Cole Fulton led Colgate with a game-high 97 rushing yards on 16 carries. Sophomore running back Danny Shaban added a four-yard touchdown in the second quarter, finishing with 16 yards on four carries.
*Colgate senior linebacker Dane Picariello posted seven tackles, while sophomore linebacker Paul-Marie Dogui and junior defensive lineman Brock Winsett each recorded two sacks.
*Sophomore linebacker Zach Jones intercepted a Rams’ pass in the fourth quarter.
*Fordham junior quarterback Gunnar Smith completed 23-of-38 passes for 205 yards, three touchdowns and one interception to lead the Rams’ offense
*He tossed a 39-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Jabril Carter to tie the score at seven in the first quarter.
*Sophomore receiver Jack Freeburg caught touchdown passes of five and 24 yards from Smith in the first half to make the score 23-21 with 3:50 left in the second quarter. Freeburg caught seven passes for 57 yards.
*Fordham junior linebacker Andrew Osmun recorded a game-high 10 tackles, while sophomore defensive back Terrence Jones II added four tackles and 2.0 TFLs.
*Sophomore defensive back Drew Minich finished with six tackles and 1.0 TFL.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore quarterback Cal Swanson completed a seven-yard touchdown pass to junior receiver Charly Mullaly with 56 seconds remaining in the game, but Holy Cross fell short in a 28-10 loss at Yale.
*Swanson completed 15-of-30 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown. Mullaly caught five passes for 38 yards.
*Freshman running back Joseph Williams caught one pass for a team-high 64 yards, and rushed for times for 18 yards, and senior running back Nyeoti Punni carried six times for a team-best 36 yards.
*The Bulldogs took a 7-0 lead into halftime before senior placekicker Luis Palenzuela connected on a 23-yard field goal to make the score 7-3 at the 11:08 mark in the third quarter.
*Yale found the end zone three times, twice in the third quarter, before Swanson connected with Mullaly for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
*Sophomore linebacker Lathan Croley and junior linebacker Cam Santee each registered 13 tackles. Santee added 2.0 TFLs and 1.5 sacks for a loss of 12 yards to lead the Crusaders’ defense.
*Senior defensive back Tommy Bestpitch finished with 11 tackles for Holy Cross.

RICHMOND, Va. – Junior running back Jamaal Brown and sophomore running back Andrew King both reached 100 yards rushing, as Richmond rolled for 348 yards on the ground in a 38-14 victory over in-state rival VMI.
*Brown rushed for a game-high 153 yards on 14 carries, and King added 100 yards on seven carries, including an 83-yard touchdown run to help the Spiders win their home opener.
*Senior quarterback Kyle Wickersham completed 10-of-13 passes for 166 yards and two touchdown passes, both to sophomore wide receiver Isaiah Dawson, in the first half to help the Spiders take a 24-14 lead before a lengthy weather delay.
*Dawson finished with four receptions for 99 yards and two scores.
*The Spiders held the Keydets scoreless after play resumed, and added touchdown runs from King and Wickersham.
*Sophomore linebacker Peyton Seelmann finished with a team-high seven tackles, while senior linebacker Carter Glassmyer added six tackles, 1.5 TFLs and one sack.
*Spiders’ sophomore defensive back Lee Bruner IV registered an interception and four tackles for a Richmond defense that also broke up eight passes.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior running back Luke Yoder and sophomore running back Jaden Green combined for 301 rushing yards on 34 carries and four touchdowns to lead No. 10 Lehigh to a 41-24 victory over Bucknell.
*Yoder rushed for 174 yards and a one-yard touchdown on 18 attempts, while Green added 127 yards and touchdown runs of 12 and 23 yards on 16 carries for a Mountain Hawks’ offense that ran for 323 yards. Green also caught a touchdown pass in the third quarter.
*Sophomore quarterback Hayden Johnson completed 16-of-20 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns, with senior wide receiver Geoffrey Jamiel catching eight passes for 102 yards.
*First-year receiver junior receiver Mason Humphrey caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Johnson in the third quarter to put Lehigh in front 37-10.
*Lehigh senior placekicker Nick Garrido opened the game with a 24-yard field goal and ended the game with a 23-yard field goal. He also went 5-for-5 on PATs.
*Sophomore defensive back Mekhai Smith recorded his third interception of the season and added six tackles.
*The Mountain Hawks’ defense recorded six sacks, with fifth-year defensive lineman Dillon Sheehan leading the way with 2.5 sacks for a loss of 11 yards. Junior defensive lineman Jadin Nelson had 2.0 TFLs and one sack.
*Bucknell fifth-year quarterback Ralph Rucker IV became the program’s career passing leader, completing 23-of-34 passes for 291 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 67 yards and a score on 13 carries.
*Junior receiver Sam Milligan caught five passes for 109 yards, while senior wide receiver Nate Anderson and junior wide receiver TJ Cadden both caught touchdown passes.
*Junior safety Deuce Geter and junior linebacker Nick Hoying finished with six tackles apiece.
*Bison freshman linebacker Logan Busson added four tackles and 1.0 TFL.
