WASHINGTON – Junior guard Greg Jones scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead American to a 65-51 victory, handing Navy its first League loss in a nationally televised rematch of the 2025 Patriot League Championship Game.
*Sophomore guard Wyatt Nausadis added 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range, and sophomore forward Julen Iturbe posted team bests of nine rebounds and four assists to go along with seven points for an Eagles’ squad that never trailed.
*Junior forward Matt Mayock recorded a game-high four steals, helping the Eagles turn 14 Navy turnovers into a 12-0 points off turnovers differential.
*Navy junior guard Cam Cole led the Midshipmen with 13 points, while senior guard Austin Benigni finished with 12 points.
*Senior forward Donovan Draper chipped in 10 points, while senior center Aidan Kehoe, the Patriot League’s rebounding leader, pulled down a game-high 15 boards to go along with three assists and two blocked shots.
