Saturday’s Lehigh at Navy Women’s Basketball Game Cancelled (1.16.26)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Patriot League women’s basketball game between Lehigh and Navy, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, has been canceled, with Lehigh forfeiting the contest due to an insufficient number of healthy players available to safely compete.

Navy will be awarded a forfeit win, and Lehigh assessed a loss, which will be reflected appropriately in the League standings only. The NCAA does not recognize forfeits, the game will be recorded as a no contest and will not have an impact on either team's overall record.

The Patriot League will have four games Saturday afternoon on ESPN+, beginning at 1 p.m. with Army West Point at American. Three more games tip off at 2 p.m., as Loyola Maryland visits Boston University, Lafayette travels to Holy Cross and Colgate heads to Bucknell. For more information on Patriot League women’s basketball, visit the composite schedule on the League’s official website at www.patriotleague.org.
