– Army West Point pulled away in the third quarter to earn a 63–56 road win over American on Saturday afternoon at Bender Arena.
*Army West Point set the tone defensively early, forcing five turnovers in the opening quarter to take a 17–10 lead.
*American responded in the second quarter behind sophomore guard Molly Driscoll’s scoring, who had eight points in the quarter, outscoring the Black Knights 17–9 to close within 27–26 at halftime.
*The Black Knights seized control after the break, opening the third quarter on a 9–2 run keyed by scoring from junior guard Camryn Tade and senior guard Reese Ericson.
*Army West Point outscored American 21–11 in the third and pushed the lead to double digits before holding the Eagles to one field goal over the final three minutes of the quarter.
*The Black Knights were able to hold off an American rally as the Eagles cut the lead to 58-56 with 1:45 remaining, but Army West Point executed at the free throw line to seal the win.
*Tade led all scorers with 20 points, while Ericson added 17 points and junior forward Kya Smith finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
*Driscoll scored 20 points to lead American, while sophomore guard Madisyn Moore-Nicholson chipped in 10 points.

Loyola Maryland held off Boston University, 56–55, on Saturday afternoon at Case Gymnasium, to earn their third consecutive victory.
*Boston University led 14–13 after one quarter behind early three-point shooting, while Loyola Maryland stayed close with balanced interior scoring.
*The Greyhounds took control midway through the second quarter, using an 11–3 stretch keyed by Lex Therien baskets to build a 25–20 lead before Boston U answered late to take a 26–25 edge into halftime.
*The Terriers opened the third quarter with momentum, hitting back-to-back threes to go up seven points, but Loyola Maryland responded with a 9–3 run sparked by junior guard Amandine Amorich and senior forward Koi Sims to pull back within one.
*The Greyhounds briefly grabbed the lead late in the third quarter, then traded baskets with Boston University as the Terriers led 42-41 after three quarters.
*Loyola Maryland created late separation with a 12–5 surge highlighted by Therien scoring on three straight possessions, pushing the lead to eight points with just over six minutes remaining.

– Holy Cross used a dominant fourth quarter to pull away for a 70–48 Patriot League win Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center.
*Holy Cross jumped out early, using a 10–2 burst fueled by sophomore guard Kendall Eddy and senior forward Simone Foreman threes to take an 18–13 lead after one quarter.
*The Crusaders continued to build in the second quarter, stringing together a 9–2 stretch to take a 32–25 lead into halftime.
*Holy Cross maintained control in the third, holding Lafayette to 23.5 percent shooting in the period and carrying a 41–33 advantage into the fourth quarter.
*The Crusaders opened the game early in the fourth, opening the quarter on a 13–3 surge highlighted by back-to-back threes from senior guard Mary-Elizabeth Donnelly and Eddy to push the lead to 15 points.
*Holy Cross kept attacking in transition, using turnovers to fuel a 16–4 run that stretched the margin past 20 points midway through the period.

– Bucknell defeated Colgate, 46-43 behind a go-ahead basket from sophomore guard Isabella Casey and stifling fourth-quarter defense.
*Colgate carried early momentum, closing the first quarter on a 6–0 spurt sparked by a three-pointer from senior guard Madison Schiller to take an 11–9 lead after 10 minutes.
*The Raiders’ advantage continued to build in the second quarter, using a 13–5 to push the lead to 24–17 midway through the period.
*Colgate led 29–21 at halftime after shooting 40 percent in the second quarter and forcing Bucknell into six turnovers.
*Bucknell answered out of the break, opening the third quarter on a 9–3 run highlighted by baskets from sophomore forward Tuana Coskun, trimming the deficit to two points.
*Colgate briefly regained control with free throws from Ella Meabon, but Bucknell closed the quarter on a 6–2 surge to cut the margin to 41–36 heading into the fourth.
*Bucknell controlled game in the final quarter, holding Colgate to 1-of-15 shooting and opening the period on a 7–2 run to take its first lead since the opening minutes.
*Sophomore guard Isabella Casey drilled a go-ahead three with 18 seconds left, and junior guard Anna Kunzwiler sealed the game at the line with a free throw in the final seven seconds.
*Casey and Coskun led Bucknell with 15 points apiece as the Bison earned their first League win of the season.
*Klag paced Colgate with 12 points and 19 rebounds, while Schiller, Meabon and Laila Hankerson each scored eight points for the Raiders.
