WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore guard Josh Ahayere hit a pair of free throws with 5.8 seconds remaining in regulation, then caused a turnover on the Crusaders’ ensuing possession to help Colgate hold off a Holy Cross comeback attempt in a 74-70 win to sweep the season series.
*Ahayere finished with 15 points, while junior forward Sam Wright scored a team-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range.
*First-year forward Andrew Alekseyenko added 14 points and seven rebounds, and junior guard Jalen Cox contributed 13 points and posted team-highs of six assists and three steals for Colgate’s third straight win.
*The Crusaders trailed by 15 points with less than seven minutes left in the game and cut the deficit to one behind the play of freshman forward Aiden Disu and junior guard DeAndre Williams.
*Disu finished with a game-high 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. He also pulled down a game-high eight rebounds to help the Crusaders hold a 41-30 advantage on the glass.
*Williams finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists, connecting on 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.

*Defty shot 9-of-10 from the floor, helping the Terriers connect on 66% (29-of-44) of field-goal attempts in their third straight win.
*Junior guard Michael McNair added 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while freshman guard Donte Tisinger Jr. scored 13 points off the bench.
*Army West Point sophomore guard Jacen Holloway scored a team-high 19 points off the bench, shooting 6-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range.
*Sophomore guard Jaxson Bell finished with 13 points.

*Whitlock, the Patriot League’s leading scorer, shot 12-of-16 from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from 3-point range for his sixth 30-point performance of the season.
*Sophomore center Hank Alvey stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks, and junior guard Joshua Ingram added 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
*First-year guard Andrew Urosevic added 12 points, helping the Mountain Hawks shoot 57% from 3-point range.
*American senior guard Geoff Sprouse scored a team-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.
*Freshman guard Madden Collins scored 16 points off the bench, while sophomore forward Julen Iturbe added 13 points for the Eagles.

*Junior guard Jordan Stiemke chipped in 13 points to help the Greyhounds improve to 6-7 in League play.
*Lafayette junior forward Andrew Phillips led the Leopards with 19 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
