WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior guard Michael McNair led four Terriers in double figures with 18 points to lead Boston University to a 72-64 victory over Holy Cross in front of a nationally televised crowd on CBS Sports Network.
*McNair shot 4-of-7 from 3-point range, while sophomore guard Azmar Abdullah added 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc to help the Terriers connect at a 55.6% (10-of-18) clip from long distance.
*Sophomore forward Ben Defty finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 17 points and nine boards, and freshman guard Chance Gladden contributed 14 points, shooting 4-of-6 from the floor.
*Holy Cross junior guard DeAndre Williams matched a career-high with 20 points, shooting 7-of-13 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range.
*Sophomore guard Tyler Boston chipped in 15 points, four rebounds and four assists, while freshman forward Aiden Disu pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds for the Crusaders.
