BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2026 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship continues on Sunday, March 7, with a pair of semifinal-round contests airing on CBS Sports Network.
 
No. 2 Lehigh advanced on the viral moment of the postseason, as junior guard Nasir Whitlock’s game-winning heave from beyond halfcourt sealed a 69-66 victory over No. 10 Holy Cross. The Mountain Hawks will meet No. 3 Colgate, who advanced to the Patriot League Championship semifinals for the ninth straight season with a 90-77 win over No. 6 Loyola Maryland. Jack Gordon will call the plays and Tre Demps will provide analysis, with live coverage beginning at noon.
 
No. 1 Navy advanced to the semifinal round with a 74-69 victory over No. 8 Bucknell in Thursday’s quarterfinals. The Midshipmen will meet No. 4 Boston University, who advanced past defending champion No. 5 American, 75-73 on a game-winning shot from freshman guard Chance Gladden. Live coverage of the Midshipmen – Bison begins at 2 p.m. with Jason Knapp and Mo Cassara on the call. Haley Sutton will report from the sideline.

SERIES HISTORY: Boston University and Navy play for the 31st time in series history, with the series tied at 15 games apiece. The Terriers and Midshipmen have split four previous meetings in the Patriot League Championship, most recently an 86-78 victory by Navy in the quarterfinal round of the 2025 tournament.
SEASON SERIES: Navy swept the season series, downing Boston University, 82-77, in the League season opener on Dec. 31 before earning a 58-50 win at BU on Jan. 28.
GAME ONE (Dec. 31 - At Navy 82, Boston University 77BOX SCORE): Senior guard Austin Benigni scored 27 points and dished out eight assists to lead Navy to an 82-77 win over Boston University. Senior center Aidan Kehoe recorded a double-double with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 15 rebounds. Boston University freshman guard Chance Gladden scored 26 points, hitting 10-of-18 from the field, to lead the Terriers.
GAME TWO (Jan. 28 – Navy 58, at Boston University 50 – BOX SCORE): Benigni finished with 20 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead Navy to a 58-50 victory over Boston University at Case Gymnasium to sweep the season series. Benigni scored 14 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to help the Mids overcome a six-point halftime deficit. Junior guard Jinwoo Kim finished with 12 points, shooting 4-of-4 from 3-point range to help Navy improve to 8-1 in League play. Boston University sophomore forward Ben Defty led the Terriers with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

SERIES HISTORY: Colgate and Lehigh meet for the 111th time, with the Raiders holding a 65-45 advantage. Colgate is 6-5 against Lehigh in the Patriot League Championship, most recently defeating Lehigh, 74-55, in the 2024 Patriot League Championship Game.
SEASON SERIES: Lehigh swept the season series, with the two games decided by a combined two points. The Mountain Hawks hit game-winning shots in both games with three or fewer seconds remaining to sweep the Raiders for the first time since 2016.
SERIES NOTE: Lehigh leads NCAA DI in overtime games played this season with seven. Colgate is tied for third with five.
GAME ONE (Jan. 10 – Lehigh 78, at Colgate 77 – BOX SCORE): Sophomore forward Hank Alvey hit a short jumper in the paint with three seconds remaining to lead Lehigh to a 78-77 upset victory at Colgate to hand the Raiders their first League loss. Alvey and sophomore forward Edouard Benoit both recorded double-doubles, with Alvey finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Benoit scored a career-high 27 points, shooting 9-of-16 from the field, including 6-of-7 from 3-point range to go along with 11 rebounds. Colgate junior guard Jalen Cox led the Raiders with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists, and first-year forward Andrew Alekseyenko added 16 points, seven boards and three assists.
GAME TWO (Jan. 31 – At Lehigh 77, Colgate 76 BOX SCORE): Junior guard Nasir Whitlock hit a contested jumper with 0.9 seconds remaining in overtime to seal Lehigh’s 77-76 victory over Colgate at Stabler Arena to sweep the season series. Whitlock also hit a pair of free throws at the end of regulation to send the Mountain Hawks to their sixth overtime game of the season. The Patriot League’s leading scorer led Lehigh with 32 points. Sophomore forward Edouard Benoit finished with 11 points and nine rebounds. Colgate junior guard Jalen Cox finished with a game- and season-high 34 points, hitting 11-of-23 from the field while going 12-of-14 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed nine rebounds. First-year forward Andrew Alekseyenko posted his second double-double of the season, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
