BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seeding for the six-team 2026 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship field has been determined after the conclusion of the regular season, with Navy (16-1, 8-1 PL) clinching a share of the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the championship for the first time since 2013.
Navy and Army West Point (13-3, 8-1 PL) were declared Patriot League women’s lacrosse regular-season co-champions, with the defending League champion Mids earning the No. 1 seed and hosting duties at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the semifinal round and championship game. Navy defeated Army West Point,14-8, on April 11. The Black Knights will be the No. 2 seed, with both teams receiving byes through the first round.
No. 3 Loyola Maryland (11-6, 7-2 PL) will host No. 6 Boston University (8-9, 4-5 PL) at noon at the Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore, Md. No. 4 Bucknell (9-6, 5-4 PL) welcomes No. 5 Holy Cross (7-9, 5-4 PL) for a 1 p.m. opening draw at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pa. Both games will be available live on ESPN+.
The lowest-remaining seed to advance through the first round will travel to Annapolis to take on top-seeded Navy on Thursday, April 30, at 3 p.m. to open the semifinal round of the Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The No. 2 Black Knights will take on the highest-remaining seed, with the opening draw scheduled for 7 p.m.
The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, with live coverage on CBS Sports Network beginning at 3:30 p.m. Jason Knapp and Rachael DeCecco will be on the call for the nationally televised championship game. Paige Messier will report from the sideline.
