BETHLEHEM, Pa. – On Saturday, nine of the 10 Patriot League women’s lacrosse teams will be in action, with live coverage on ESPN+, including four important League games.
 
Colgate hosts Lehigh and No. 8 Navy welcomes Boston University, with the opening draw for both games at 11 a.m.
 
At noon, No. 17 Army West Point looks to remain unbeaten in League play when they take on American, and Bucknell travels to Holy Cross in an important League matchup.
 
No. 15 Loyola Maryland takes on ACC opponent No. 12 Boston College with live coverage on ESPN+ beginning at 3 p.m.

Three Patriot League Teams Among the NCAA RPI Top 20
Navy slipped two spots to No. 6 in the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse RPI through games on April 1, with Army West Point climbing to No. 10 following a win at Yale. Loyola Maryland is No. 16 in the most recent RPI rankings. Three more Patriot League teams are within the top 60, including Bucknell (52), Holy Cross (55) and Boston University (60).

Reigning Patriot League Champion Navy slipped to No. 8 in this week’s Inside Lacrosse KANE Women’s DI Media Poll after falling to Loyola Maryland, 19-14, on Saturday. The Greyhounds climbed six spots to No. 15 after the win against the then-No. 4 Mids. Army West Point is No. 17 in a poll released before its win over No. 5 Yale on Tuesday.

The Mids also fell to No. 8 in the IWLCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. Loyola Maryland moved up to No. 16 from 22nd, while Army West Point remained No. 18 for the third straight week.

This Week in Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse
Tuesday, March 31
No. 17 Army West Point 12, at No. 5 Yale 8 (BOX SCORE) – Army West Point’s Brigid Duffy recorded a game-high seven points with four goals and three assists to lead the Black Knights to a 12-8 win over No. 5 Yale. Allison Reilly added two goals and three assists. Army jumped out to a 5-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back. They led by as many as seven goals.

No. 15 Loyola Maryland 16, at Lafayette 7 (BOX SCORE) – Loyola Maryland’s Lauren Perfetto posted a game-high seven points on five goals and two assists in the Greyhounds’ 16-7 win over Lafayette to improve to 5-1 in League play. Elisa Faklaris added four goals, Morgan Quade finished with two goals and four assists and Mae Murphy totaled 16 draw controls. Lafayette’s Georgia Swarr led the Leopards with four goals.
 
Patriot League Victories vs. Ranked Non-League Opponents
Army West Point’s victory over No. 5 on Tuesday is the sixth win by a Patriot League women’s lacrosse program over a ranked non-League opponent this season. Loyola has recorded three wins over ranked non-League opponents, with a matchup with No. 12 Boston College on Saturday. Navy is 2-0 against ranked non-League teams, while Army is 1-2.

Five Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes were selected as 2026 Nike Lacrosse Midseason Media All-Americans when it was announced by Inside Lacrosse this week. Army West Point’s Allison Reilly (Sr., A) and Brigid Duffy (Sr., M) both received first-team accolades. Navy’s Alyssa Chung (So., A) earned a spot on the second team, while Loyola Maryland’s Mae Murphy (Fr., D/DS) made the third team. Navy’s Ava Yovino (Sr., M) was selected as an honorable mention.

Loyola Maryland and Freshman Mae Murphy Among the Nation’s Draw Control Leaders
Loyola Maryland leads NCAA DI in draw control percentage (.696) and draw controls per game (18.00) through games on April 1. The Greyhounds are led by freshman Mae Murphy, who has made an immediate impact during her first collegiate campaign. In 13 games, the reigning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week ranks second in NCAA DI with 12.7 draw controls per game. Her 165 draws are the highest single-season total by a Patriot League rookie, topping the mark previously held by Navy’s Reagan Roelofs (146) from 2019. Murphy is 35 draw controls shy of becoming the third different player in League history to reach 200 in a single season, where she would join Alyssa Daley and Chase Boyle. Daley set the single-season record with 236 last season.
 
Five Patriot Leaguers Among NCAA DI Top 30 Points Leaders
Army West Point’s Allison Reilly is second in NCAA DI, averaging 7.09 points per game. She has three games with 10 or more points, including a Patriot League season-high 12-point performance in a win over Marist on Feb. 10. Reilly leads five Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes among the NCAA DI top-30 leaders. Army’s Duffy is seventh in NCAA DI, averaging 5.55 points per game. Bucknell’s Megan Krestinski (5.10) and Colgate’s Aubrey McMahon (4.90) are 14th and 20th, respectively. Krestinski and McMahon have each recorded 10-point performances this season, with Krestinski posting 10 points in a win vs. UMBC on Feb. 13. McMahon finished with 10 points, including nine goals, in a win over Lafayette on March 21. Navy’s Alyssa Chung is 26th in the nation, averaging 4.58 points per game.
 
Holy Cross’ Levy-Smith in the Midst of a Career Season
Holy Cross defender Racheli Levy-Smith has already broken a League record with five consecutive Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors during an impressive senior season. The two-time All-League selection is 11th in NCAA DI, averaging 2.5 caused turnovers per game and seventh with 10.0 draw controls per game. Levy-Smith has posted 28 caused turnovers in 11 games this season, giving her 75 during her career to rank 24th among NCAA DI active leaders.
 
Five Patriot League players rank among NCAA DI’s top-30 in caused turnovers per game, with Levy-Smith and Army’s Duffy tied for 11th with 2.55. American’s Samantha Buonaccorsi (2.30) is 20th, Boston University’s Siri Hodgins (2.25) is 22nd and American’s Izzy Masengarb (2.09) is 27th.  
 
Army’s Reilly Second in NCAA DI in Assists; First Among Active Career Leaders
Earlier this season, Army West Point’s Allison Reilly set a Black Knights’ single-game program record with eight assists in a 13-7 win against Florida State. Reilly leads NCAA DI active leaders with 147 career assists, sixth in Patriot League history. She currently ranks second in NCAA DI this season, averaging 4.36 assists per game in 11 games. Holy Cross’ Kate Avitabile (2.91) and Lehigh’s Kacie Wines (2.50) are 10th and 19th in NCAA DI in assists per game this season.

Army’s Duffy moved to sixth in Patriot League women’s lacrosse history with 323 career points, ranking second among all active NCAA Division I players. Army’s Reilly became the 12th student-athlete in League history to surpass 300 points, posting seven points in a win over Bucknell on March 21. She is seventh in League history and third among active leaders with 319 career points.

Army’s Duffy Climbing Patriot League Career Goals List
Duffy climbed into fourth place in Patriot League history with 226 goals, passing Navy’s Jenna Collins, with her four-goal performance in a win over No. 5 Yale on Tuesday. She is second among active NCAA DI leaders. Her teammate Allison Reilly’s 172 career goals are 24th in League history and eighth among active goal scorers. American’s Reagan Murdoch reached 100 career goals with a six-goal performance in a loss to George Mason on Feb. 27, and ranks 78th in League history and 36th among active scorers with 106 goals. Colgate’s Caroline Panzirer eclipsed 100 career goals with a four-goal performance in the Raiders’ 16-10 win over Niagara on Feb. 14. She is 92nd in League history.

Holy Cross’ Racheli Levy-Smith is six draw controls away from becoming the sixth player in Patriot League history to reach 400. She became the 10th player to surpass 300 earlier this season. The senior defender is seventh in League history and fifth among NCAA DI active leaders with 394. Army’s Duffy ranks 11th in League history with 324 draw controls. Lafayette’s Katie Marrs eclipsed 200 career draw controls to become the third active Patriot League player to reach the milestone. Marrs is tied for 18th in Patriot League history, with former Holy Cross star Keeley Connors, and 29th among NCAA DI active leaders.

Navy Head Coach Cindy Timchal Reaches 600 Career Wins
Navy head coach Cindy Timchal became the second NCAA women’s lacrosse coach, and the first at the Division I level, to reach 600 victories in the Mids’ 13-10 win over Jacksonville. Timchal joins Sharon Pfluger, who has surpassed 600 victories and counting in her 39th season coaching women’s lacrosse at DIII TCNJ. The two-time National Coach of the Year and eight-time NCAA Champion became the first women’s lacrosse coach at Navy, helping elevate its club team to the DI level for the 2008 season. She has won 268 games and counting in Annapolis, guiding the Mids to seven Patriot League titles and seven NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Final Four appearance in 2017 and a quarterfinals trip in 2018. Timchal and the Mids are 11-1 and ranked No. 8 or No. 9 in the NCAA DI polls this week.
 
Army’s Duffy Named IWLCA National Offensive Player of the Week
Army West Point senior midfielder Brigid Duffy earned National Offensive Player of the Week honors when it was announced by the IWLCA on March 17. Duffy stuffed the stat sheet with six goals, one assist, four draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the Black Knights’ victory over then-No. 16 Loyola Maryland, to snap the Greyhounds’ 94-game Patriot League regular-season winning streak.

Navy’s Yovino Named IWLCA National Offensive Player of the Week for the Second Time
Navy’s Ava Yovino (Sr. M) has been named the Division I National Offensive Player of the Week by the IWLCA twice this season. Most recently, she earned the honor after recording three goals, three assists, seven draw controls, three caused turnovers and one ground ball in the Mids’ 14-11 upset win over No.  7 Florida on Feb. 28. The senior midfielder previously earned national offensive player of the week honors after posting six points on two goals and four assists to go with seven draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Mids’ upset victory over then-No. 10 Virginia.

Duffy Recognized as USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Year
Army West Point’s Duffy was selected as the Preseason Midfielder of the Year after breaking the Black Knights’ single-season records for goals (64), ground balls (47) and caused turnovers (32). The three-time All-American is among the Patriot League’s career leaders in points (262), goals (182) and draw controls (283).

Army’s Duffy Named to US Lacrosse Women’s National Field Team

Army West Point Women's Lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy has been named to the U.S. Women's National Team as announced by USA Lacrosse on Thursday, Jan. 15. Duffy is the first Black Knight to make the National Field Team.
 
The Queensbury, N.Y., native will represent the United States of America this upcoming summer at the 2026 U.S. Women's World Lacrosse Championships, which are set to be held from July 24 to August 2 in Tokyo, Japan. Duffy will be one of nine current collegiate players on the roster and the only player from the Patriot League. This will mark her second national tournament after she has already represented Team USA on the national stage in 2024 on the U.S. U20 team alongside fellow senior Allison Reilly and was coached by Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Michelle Tumolo.
 
Patriot Women’s Lacrosse on CBS Sports Network
Four Patriot League women’s lacrosse games will be featured on CBS Sports Network in 2026. Coverage continues this Saturday with the regular-season rematch of the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game featuring Navy at Loyola Maryland. The Mids will host rival Army West Point on Saturday, April 11, at noon. The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game will be aired on Saturday, May 2, with live coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
