BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Inside Lacrosse announced its NCAA Division I men's All-Americans on Friday afternoon, recognizing the top individual performers from the 2026 season.

Senior Richard Checo was named an honorable mention All-American by Inside Lacrosse. The honor comes after Checo received honorable mention All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse Magazine last week. It marks the fourth time in his career that Checo has earned All-America recognition from Inside Lacrosse. Entering the 2026 campaign, he was named a preseason honorable mention All-American before later earning midseason All-America honors from the organization.

In Lehigh's loss to Richmond on Feb. 21, Checo became Division I's all-time leader in caused turnovers, recording the 161st of his career. He finished his career with 185 caused turnovers.

Checo recorded two five-caused-turnover performances this season. In a Feb. 10 win at Iona, he tallied five caused turnovers and tied his season high with six ground balls. In a pivotal 19-7 victory over Navy that helped position Lehigh for postseason play, Checo forced five turnovers and added three ground balls.

Checo finished his senior season with 38 caused turnovers, averaging 2.38 per game which both lead the Patriot league.

The Mountain Hawks finished the season 8-8 overall and 4-4 in Patriot League play, defeating Boston University in the Patriot League quarterfinals before falling to Army in West Point in the Patriot League semifinals.
