BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Army West Point collected two Patriot League men’s soccer weekly awards, when the League office announced the first set of honors for the 2026 season on Monday. Holy Cross, Navy and Lafayette each received one weekly award.
Holy Cross sophomore forward Archie Hatcher collected Patriot League Men’s Soccer Forward of the Week honors after scoring the Crusaders’ first goal of the season in a 2-2 draw against Merrimack.
Navy sophomore midfielder Nick Gallucci earned Patriot League Men’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week honors after recording a career-high two assists in the Mids’ 2-2 draw at San Diego State.
Army West Point senior defender Kelly Cooper was named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Defender of the Week after playing all 90 minutes and helping the Black Knights limit Air Force to one goal in a 1-1 draw.
Lafayette sophomore goalkeeper Harrison Wolfrom nabbed Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honors after recording a shutout in his first collegiate start against Duquesne.
Army West Point freshman defender Gunnar Guest earned Patriot League Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal in the Black Knights’ 1-1 draw against Air Force.
Army West Point senior forward Jubril Bamgbala, junior midfielder Ronald Zhai and sophomore goalkeeper Collin Gilbert, Bucknell freshmen forward Chayse Snyder and defender Viktor Permyashkin, Colgate first-year goalkeeper Christian Kellogg, Holy Cross sophomore midfielder Jack Fiedler and freshman forward Jude Jakes-McKay, and Navy freshman midfielder Jack Illig were named honorable mentions.
The Patriot League men’s soccer players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.
