The 2006 Patriot League Softball Championship will be held at Lehigh (Kaufman Field). The double-elimination tournament field will be made up of the top four teams. Competition will take place on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. Patriot League softball participation includes: Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette and Lehigh.
The winner of the 2006 Patriot League Softball Championship will move on to the NCAA Tournament as the automatic qualifier. The NCAA Tournament first round will take place Friday, May 19 - Sunday, May 21.
