Army has dominated Patriot League women's tennis for several years, and 2012 was no different as the Black Knights captured their eighth consecutive League crown with a 4-1 victory over rival Navy. It was the second straight year in which the academy rivals squared off in the tournament's championship tilt. Erin Colton and Natalie Allen, both of Army, shared the Tournament MVP honor.
Riding its unprecedented string of success, Army will host the 2013 Patriot League Women's Tennis Tournament at the Malek Courts in West Point, N.Y. If inclement weather threatens, competition will move indoors to the Lichtenberg Tennis Center on campus.
