Army and Navy battled to the wire for the second straight year, but this year's result differed from 2011 as the Midshipmen captured the 2012 Patriot League Golf championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Navy managed to win the team title despite not having an individual golfer finish in the top five. The tournament's Most Outstanding Player honor went to Army's William Park, who shot a 1-under 211 to clear the field by six shots. He went on to compete in the NCAA Tournament as an individual.
