The 2016 Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Tournament includes six teams and will be held on Tuesday, May 3, Friday, May 6 and Sunday, May 8. Loyola University Maryland, Navy, Boston University, Lehigh, Colgate and Bucknell qualified for the event, which begins with the quarterfinal round on May 3 as #6 seed Bucknell visits #3 Boston University and #5 Colgate heads to #4 Lehigh. As the regular-season champion, Loyola will host the semifinals and championship at Ridley Athletic Complex on May 6 and May 8. In the semifinals on May 6, the top-seed Greyhounds will face the lower-seeded winner from the quarterfinal round while #2 seed Navy takes on the higher-seeded quarterfinal winner. The semifinal winners meet in the Patriot League Championship on May 8 at Noon for the League's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
