* Clinched a berth in the Patriot League Championship
! Clinched division title
Patriot League men’s lacrosse will consist of one five-team division and one four-team division while women’s lacrosse will consist of two five-team divisions in 2021. The top-three teams in both the North and South Division will qualify for the Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Championship fields. The first game played against a divisional opponent counts toward the divisional standings. Additional games against the same divisional opponent would count toward the overall League winning percentage, which could be utilized for tiebreaking purposes.
Each divisional winner will earn a bye in the championship. The divisional winner with the best overall League winning percentage will receive the No. 1 seed and serve as the host site for the semifinals and championship game. In the event of ties among the divisional winners see NOTE C below.
The second-place team in the North and South Division will host the quarterfinals against the No. 3 seed from their respective divisions. The winner of the North Division quarterfinal game will play the winner of the South Division in the semifinals. The winner of the South Division quarterfinal game will play the winner of the North Division in the semifinals.
