Bryson Eldridge was named the Patriot League Director of Communications and Social Media beginning August 2024.
Eldridge, a recent graduate of the University of Scranton, will oversee content and design for the League’s official social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. He will also serve as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, men’s soccer, softball, and men’s and women’s tennis.
Eldridge brings experience from the University of Scranton, where he spent three years in the athletics department creating video, photo, and social media content for the University’s official athletics website. He also worked with individual sports, including men’s and women’s basketball, to develop content and strategy for their social media accounts. Additionally, Eldridge contributed to the University newspaper, The Aquinas, as head sports writer and co-managing editor.
During the 2023 season, Eldridge served as Director of Creative Media for East Stroudsburg University Football, where he created video, photo, and graphic content for the team’s social media platforms and managed recruiting materials, including player photoshoots and graphics.
Most recently, Eldridge worked at Riverfront Sports in Scranton, Pa., as Director of Social Media
Marketing. where he created and managed content across all social media platforms, developed a website and rebranded Riverfront Sports’ local image.
A native of Aston, Pa., Eldridge graduated from the University of Scranton in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and electronic media and minors in sports communication and social media strategies.
