One of the Patriot League's original full-time staff members, Deb Herman returned to the League office in May 2011 as Executive Assistant and Business Manager. She served in the same capacity from before the League's inception as an all-sport conference in September 1989 until relocating to Arizona in 2005.
As the Executive Assistant, Herman is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the League office while providing support and administrative assistance to the Commissioner. In her role as Business Manager, she manages accounting records and cash flow and performs duties in support of the League's business operations.
Herman was recognized as Bethlehem Chapter Woman of the Year in 1996 by the American Business Women's Association. She owns the distinction as the only person to work with all three full-time Executive Directors in League history - Carl Ullrich, Connie Hurlbut and Carolyn Schlie Femovich.
Herman is the proud mother of one son and grandmother of three children. She and her husband, Dennis, reside in Emmaus, Pa.
