2021 Softball Championship
Patriot League softball consists of seven teams with the top four overall records making the 2021 Patriot League Softball Championship Field. All League games played count toward standings.
1. The team with the best overall League record will be the top-seed for the double-elimination tournament.
2. The team with the second-best overall League record will be the No. 2 seed.
3. The team with the third-best overall League record will be the No. 3 seed and play the No. 2 seed.
4. The team with the fourth-best overall League record will be the No. 4 seed and play the No. 1 seed.

SOFTBALL SPORT-SPECIFIC CRITERIA
i. Run differential between tied teams (runs scored minus runs allowed in games played between the tied teams)
ii. Run differential overall (runs scored minus runs allowed through the full League schedule)
iii. Record in last 10 games of the season

# indicates when comparing records against a single or group of tied teams (before ties are broken), the higher winning percentage will prevail even if the number of games played is not equal among the tied teams (e.g., 2-0 is better than 1-0; 4-2 is better than 2-1; 1-2 is better than 2-4 and 0-1 is better than 0-2).
