2021 Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championship
Patriot League men’s and women’s soccer will consist of two five-team divisions in 2021. The top-two teams in both the North and South Division will qualify for the Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Championship field. Finish in each division will be determined first by points within its division, where each victory is worth three (3), and a tie is worth one (1). The first game played against a divisional opponent counts toward the divisional standings. Additional games against the same divisional opponent would count toward the overall League winning percentage, which could be utilized for tiebreaking purposes.
Each division winner will host the second-place team within its division in the semifinal round. The remaining team with the highest regular-season point total will host the championship game.
2021 Patriot League Standard Tiebreaking Operating Procedure
NOTE A: All ties are broken in descending order.
NOTE B: The entire process for multiple-team ties must be completed. The Patriot League does not revert to the two-way tie formula once the multiple-team tie has been resolved. The League continues through the steps with any remaining tied teams until the tie is broken.

B. Head-to-head, if applicable
C. Comparison winning percentage against non-tied common opponents from best to worst overall winning percentage#
