MEN'S BASKETBALL

The Patriot League men's basketball regular season could not have had a more exciting ending, as Bucknell's Chris Niesz hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer for a 60-59 win over Colgate at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pa. Holy Cross, American and Lafayette were also winners on Saturday. The pairings are now set for the 2005 Patriot League Tournament, set to begin Friday, March 4.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

It came down to the last game of the Patriot League women's basketball regular season to set all the pairings for the upcoming tournament, which begins with quarterfinal play Thursday, March 3, followed by semifinal games on Saturday, March 5 at campus sites. The number one seed, Holy Cross, is one tournament site, which will host fourth-seeded American, fifth-seeded Navy and eighth-seeded Lafayette at the Hart Center. The other tournament site is Lehigh's Stabler Arena. The second-seeded Mountain Hawks welcome third-seeded Army, sixth-seeded Colgate and seventh-seeded Bucknell.
