BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League has announced the promotion of Lynn Hughes in advance of the 2026-27 academic and athletic year.
“Lynn has earned her promotion through the trust, respect and credibility she has built within the League office and the full membership,” Patriot League Commissioner Jennifer Heppel said. “I’m proud of what she has accomplished and look forward to the leadership she will continue to provide moving forward.”
Hughes will now hold the title of Senior Associate Commissioner for Policy and Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator. The Mechanicsburg, Ill., native joined League office staff as Director for Compliance and Sport Management in September 2016. She has previously earned two promotions during her tenure with the Patriot League. Hughes will continue to serve as the compliance officer for the League office in addition to managing both League and national issues for member institutions. She will also continue to guide operations including communications, logistics and meeting planning for multiple League governance committees, while serving as the primary sport administrator for women’s lacrosse.
