Center Valley, Pa. - The Patriot League announced Wednesday its partnership with Turfer Athletic as its official outerwear supplier and a sponsor of the Patriot League's men's basketball and football media days.
"We are pleased to partner with Turfer Athletic, which will provide quality products and services for our membership," Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich said. "The members of the Patriot League will benefit from our relationship with Turfer, who has displayed a strong commitment to intercollegiate athletics."
The Patriot League and Turfer Athletic have signed a three-year agreement that will provide marketing opportunities and a preferred pricing structure for each of the Patriot League's member institutions. In addition, with this agreement came the creation of the Patriot League/Turfer Athletic Achievement Trophy that will be presented at the end of each academic year. With signage at Patriot League media days and championships, the Patriot League and Turfer will gain visibility to a wide audience.
"All of us at Turfer Athletic are proud to be part of such an outstanding organization as the Patriot League and thankful for the opportunity to be named `Official Outerwear of Patriot League'," President of Turfer Athletic Glenn Cook said. "This sponsorship agreement with the Patriot League aligns Turfer's core value of determination, perseverance, resilience and the competitive spirit of both organizations."
Turfer Athletic, which is headquartered in Bristol, R.I., has been supplying the sports community with pioneering apparel for the past 40 years. The Turfer product line represents eleven different product categories, with more than 400 different color combinations ensuring each Patriot League athletic team their own "Badge of Honor".
