Center Valley, Pa. - Fans of Patriot League athletics will have four opportunities to catch the Patriot League's best in action as CSTV: College Sports Television has announced its broadcast schedule for the 2006 fall season.
Included among the four games CSTV is televising are two football contests, including the 142nd meeting between Lehigh and Lafayette, and a men's soccer and women's volleyball tilt.
CSTV's Patriot League package will kickoff with American-Lafayette men's soccer on September 16, followed by Army-Navy women's volleyball on September 29. CSTV's Patriot League schedule will then move to the gridiron and feature two-time defending Patriot League Champion Lafayette on September 30 and November 18.
The Leopards will play host to Yale on September 30 in its second contest at the newly renovated Fisher Field. CSTV's Patriot League action will end with college football's most-played rivalry - Lehigh vs. Lafayette in Easton, Pa. Patriot League bragging rights have been on the line the last two times these teams have faced one another.
This season marks the fourth consecutive year that the Patriot League and CSTV have partnered on an Olympic sport television package. Additional events will be announced throughout the year as part of this package.
