Center Valley, Pa.- Six Patriot League men's and women's soccer teams have received NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Awards for the 2007-2008 academic year. Schools with team grade-point averages of 3.0 or better receive the honor.

Bucknell and Lafayette represented two of the 59 schools who had both the men's and women's teams recognized by the NSCAA out of 364 total schools receiving recognition. Bucknell's men's team earned a team grade-point average of 3.26, and the women's team earned a team average of 3.47. Lafayette's men's team posted a combined 3.17 grade-point average, while the women earned a 3.12 grade-point average.

In addition to Bucknell and Lafayette, Lehigh and Army earned Team Academic Awards on the women's side. Lehigh's team grade-point average was 3.23, while Army's team average was 3.05.
