Center Valley, Pa. - The Patriot League Football season heats up with three League games on Saturday, and the League Tournaments in men and women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball are all fast approaching. Now, Patriot League fans have a place to go to stay in touch with all of the key points of the weekend action.

The Patriot League Gameday Blog, started in the 2009-10 season to give more updates and information on all of the action across the Patriot League, will now feature additional content on qualification in each of the Patriot League Tournaments as well as a live-blog from the Saturday Football action. Scenarios for men and women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball will be updated as the weekend progresses along with any teams that clinch a berth in the field or the right to host the event. A live-blog of football will once again be offered on Saturday, with in-game action from the Colgate/Holy Cross contest and score updates from the other two League games.

The Gameday Blog has offered previews, news and notes and live coverage of the action throughout the 2009 fall season, and is part of the Patriot League's social media outlets. Also included among the League's social media ventures are the Twitter and Facebook pages

The Patriot League Twitter page offers short news and note updates as well as links to most League releases. Coverage has included the release of Patriot League and NCAA Football statistics, the first announcement of weekly award winners in select fall sports, score updates of football and more Patriot League action and any pertinent news from around the League.

The Patriot League Facebook page provides a way for followers to interact with the League while keeping up to date on key developments. Videos and photos have been posted from around the Patriot League, including the League's promotional videos for the All-Access package and Women's Basketball Championship along with photos from the football action around the League. Events will also be added as the championship sites are determined. The page also includes links to polls from the Patriot League website to invoke discussion and participation among fans, and releases for the football weekend previews and recaps.
