2010-11 Patriot League Presidents' Cup (Through Fall 2010) 
Center Valley, Pa. - Colgate started the year by winning the Women's Cross Country Championship and continued to find success by placing in the top half of the standings in every sport to earn first place in the Patriot League Presidents' Cup race through the fall season.
The Raiders claimed first place in the overall standings with a score of 39.25 in the fall sports of cross country, field hockey, men and women's soccer, football and volleyball. Colgate held a five-point edge over second-place American, with defending Presidents' Cup champion Bucknell in third place with 33.75 points. Lehigh comes in fourth with 31.25 points, followed in order by Army (26.5), Navy (20.5), Holy Cross (17.5) and Lafayette (16).
Colgate also shares first place in the race for the men's trophy and has a narrow lead in the women's standings. Lehigh matched the Raiders with 16.25 points on the men's side, followed by American (13.25), Bucknell (11.25), Navy (11), Holy Cross (8.5), Army (7) and Lafayette (6.5). In the women's race, the Raiders have 23 points to come in just ahead of Bucknell (22.5) and American (21). Army is in fourth place with 19.5, with Lehigh (15), Lafayette and Navy (9.5) and Holy Cross (9) rounding out the women's standings.
After opening the season by winning the Women's Cross Country Championship, Colgate enjoyed success in all of the team sports in the fall. The Raiders won the regular-season title in men's soccer and also made the Patriot League Tournament in field hockey, women's soccer and volleyball, where they advanced to the championship match. Colgate tied for second place in football and placed fourth in the men's cross country race.
American won a pair of Patriot League titles in the fall, as the Eagles continued to dominate in field hockey and volleyball by winning both the regular-season and tournament crowns. They also placed second at the Men's Cross Country Championship and finished as runner-up in the Patriot League Men's Soccer Tournament.
Bucknell put together its usual strong campaign across the board, which included a men's soccer title as the winner of the Patriot League Tournament. The Bison came in second at the Women's Cross Country Championship, and qualified for the Patriot League Tournament in field hockey, volleyball and women's soccer, where they shared the regular-season crown with Army.
Lehigh also claimed a pair of fall championships, with the Mountain Hawks completing an undefeated Patriot League season in football and winning the Women's Soccer Tournament. Lehigh also placed second in the men's soccer regular season.
Army's fall highlights included a first-place regular-season finish and a trip to the championship match in women's soccer, as well as a second-place finish during the regular season in volleyball. The Black Knights also placed third in both races at the Patriot League Cross Country Championship.
Navy won the remaining Patriot League title, as the Mids finished first at the Men's Cross Country Championship. Holy Cross finished in a tie for second place in the football standings, while Lafayette was the runner-up in both the regular season and Patriot League Tournament in field hockey.
Patriot League Presidents' Cup points are awarded based on a team's performance in the regular season and postseason Patriot League standings. In cross country, football, golf, rowing, swimming and diving and track and field, the points are awarded on the final team standing.
Bucknell took home its 16th Patriot League Presidents' Cup at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season. Army is the only other team in League history to win the cup, taking home four trophies (1994, 1995, 1997, 2005). Bucknell also claimed its 16th women's title last season, while taking its seventh crown on the men's side.
