NCAA Hall of Champions video
Center Valley, Pa. - The Patriot League will be on display at the NCAA Hall of Champions until Labor Day with an exhibit that highlights the League's members and some of the top student-athletes in its history.
The Patriot League exhibit will be displayed in the membership showcase on the Hall of Champion's second floor. The membership showcase is interchangeable and highlights accomplishments and achievements in the NCAA membership, which includes current and former student-athletes, colleges and universities, athletic conferences and various academic and athletic highlights reflective of intercollegiate athletics.
In addition to providing information on the League as well as its full and associate member schools, the exhibit highlights a student-athlete from each of the eight full-member institutions. These student-athletes were among the most prominent in Patriot League history both on the field and in the classroom.
The following individuals will be featured from each school.
American: Karla Kucerkova (Volleyball)
Army: Julie Jorgenson (Women's Soccer)
Bucknell: Lauren Wible (Softball)
Colgate: Adonal Foyle (Men's Basketball)
Holy Cross: Dan Conti (Men's Track and Field)
Lafayette: Allison Fisher (Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse)
Lehigh: Nick Martucci (Football)
Navy : Billy Hurley (Golf)
The NCAA Hall of Champions is a two-level, 30,000-square foot facility that celebrates the academic and athletic experiences of current and former NCAA student-athletes. The Hall of Champions features interactive exhibits, relevant artifacts and memorabilia, as well as photos and video that center on the 23 NCAA sports and 88 championships. The Hall of Champions is located in downtown Indianapolis in White River State Park and serves as a meeting and event facility and public attraction. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Regular admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children, senior citizens and students.
