The segment is scheduled to run every Thursday on All-Access and will feature an interview with a student-athlete who was named "Player of the Week" in Monday's weekly Patriot League awards.
Kate Herren, a senior on the Navy women's soccer team, was interviewed last week for the first edition of this feature series.
Herren, the lone captain for the Mids, started two games on defense Aug. 19-21, helping Navy hold High Point and North Carolina State scoreless for a combined 198 minutes before the Wolfpack scored on a penalty kick.
The "Player of the Week Interview Series" will return Thursday with a student-athlete from this week's pool of award winners.
The new feature series is just the latest addition to the content on Patriot League All-Access. Before the fall sports season began, a total of 49 preseason interviews were conducted with head coaches in football, men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball as well as each student-athlete who attended Patriot League Football Media Day. To view the preseason interviews, go to each sport's tab at Patriot League All-Access.
Throughout the season, Patriot League All-Access will also showcase highlights and top plays from the action on the field as well as features and interviews on student-athletes, coaches and teams.
