CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- As the days get shorter and the leaves turn different shades or red, brown and orange, berths in three Patriot League Tournaments could be secured this weekend in action shown on Patriot League Network.

But the weekend's action will begin with a special presentation of a non-League sport as Colgate women's ice hockey hosts St. Lawrence at 3 p.m. Coverage continues at 5 p.m. at Boston University field hockey welcomes California to New Balance Field. Volleyball takes center stage with all four of the night's contests airing at 7 p.m., with Bucknell hosting Army, American visiting Loyola Maryland, Lehigh entertaining Holy Cross and Navy heading to Lafayette. Also at 7 p.m., PLN will feature another non-League sport when the Colgate men's ice hockey team hosts St. Cloud State.

Lafayette can sew up the fourth and final berth to the field hockey tournament with a win at noon over Colgate in the first PLN presentation on Saturday. A pair of football games kick off at 1 p.m. when Bucknell welcomes Lehigh and Lafayette goes to Holy Cross. Critical League showdowns in volleyball will air in late afternoon when Lehigh hosts Army at 4 p.m. and Colgate entertains Lafayette at 5 p.m. Soccer takes over in the evening, with League newcomers Boston University and Loyola Maryland squaring off in men's action at 7 p.m. in Boston. On the women's side, Colgate heads to Lehigh and Army visits Lafayette, both at 7 p.m., in two matches that could both have significant tournament implications. In addition, Colgate women's ice hockey will play host to Clarkson for a 3 p.m. faceoff.

Sunday's slate features two games at 1 p.m. Navy hosts Loyola in women's soccer at 1 p.m. with the Mids looking to clinch home field for the semifinal and championship rounds of the Patriot League Tournament with a win. At 1:30 p.m., Boston University field hockey hosts Duke.

It's a busy schedule during the week as well. It begins on Tuesday with Navy hosting Loyola in a key volleyball matchup while Colgate women's soccer welcomes Princeton for a non-League tilt, both at 7 p.m. Wednesday's slate features the night's all five men's soccer tilts at 7 p.m., plus Navy hosting Lehigh in volleyball at 7 p.m.

Powered by Campus Insiders, Patriot League Network brings you features, highlights, previews and interviews beyond the plethora of live events available during the upcoming week.
