CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Sept. 30-Oct. 6 in women's soccer, men's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, and swimming and diving.
Patriot League Women's Soccer Weekly Awards
BRINE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADISON CLEMENS, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., F, Reading, Pa.
Clemens accounted for half of her team's goals and both game-winners in a pair of Patriot League victories last week. The League's preseason Offensive Player of the Year notched her second career multi-goal outing with two markers in the Terriers' 3-0 win over Holy Cross on Wednesday. Clemens came back to the pitch on Saturday and netted her team's first goal in a 3-0 triumph over Lehigh. It's Clemens' first weekly honor from the Patriot League, and the Terriers sit in third place with nine points and a 3-1 League record.
BRINE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JADE SEABROOK, NAVY Jr., D, St. Paris, Ohio
Seabrook played all 90 minutes and anchored a Navy defense that did not yield a single shot on goal in Saturday's big 1-0 League victory over Colgate. The Mids posted their fifth consecutive shutout of the season while extending their win streak to eight. Navy's shutout streak has reached 515:52 thanks in large part to the efforts of the back line led by Seabrook. Navy is 3-0 in League play and is scheduled to visit 3-0 American Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
BRINE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
CHARLENE BELANGER, AMERICAN Jr., GK Alexandra, Va.
Belanger captured her second straight weekly award and third of the season from the Patriot League after posting her third consecutive clean sheet with seven saves in Saturday's 3-0 League win over Bucknell. She improved to 4-4 on the season while increasing her save percentage to .873, second best in the League, and dipping her goals-against average to 0.84, third in the League. Belanger hasn't allowed a goal in 305:01.

SARA PERLMAN, AMERICAN Fr., M, Weston, Fla.
Perlman notched her first career multi-point game with three assists in the Eagles' 3-0 win over Bucknell on Saturday. The rookie set up Lindsay Muri's game-winner in the 18th minute before adding a corner-kick assist in the 58th and dishing for another insurance goal in the 69th. Perlman sits in a three-way tie for second in the League with four assists. It's her first weekly honor from the Patriot League.

Led the Terrier defense in two shutouts of League foes Holy Cross and Lehigh last week. BU allowed just five shots (three on goal) against the Crusaders and two total (one on net) versus the Mountain Hawks.

Scored the game-winner and added an assist on the insurance tally in Holy Cross' 3-1 win over Lafayette on Saturday.

BRINE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PATRICK MEHLERT, AMERICAN Sr., M, Bethesda, Md.
Mehlert helped lead the Eagles on Saturday to a 3-0 win at Holy Cross, notching their first victory in Worcester, Mass., since joining the Patriot League in 2001. The senior midfielder found Colin Seigfreid for what stood as the game-winner just 2:16 into the contest and added a goal of his own, blasting a shot from 20 yards to put the Eagles up 2-0 at halftime. It's Mehlert's first career weekly honor from the Patriot League.

MAYOWA ALLI, BUCKNELL Sr., D, Lanham, Md.
Alli led Bucknell's defensive efforts in Saturday's 3-0 win at Lehigh, helping a back line that limited the Mountain Hawks to eight shots total and only four on net. In addition, the Bison defense yielded just two corner kicks to Lehigh's attack. Alli also contributed offensively, netting his team's first goal at 8:37 when he headed in a corner kick. The senior defender now has three weekly honors from the League in six weeks this season.

BILLY KNUTSEN, AMERICAN Sr., GK, San Francisco, Calif.
Knutsen earns his second straight weekly honor from the League after going 1-1 with 12 saves, including a five-stop clean sheet in the Eagles' 3-0 win at Holy Cross on Saturday. Earlier in the week the senior keeper backstopped American with seven saves in a tough 1-0 loss at home to 11th-ranked Georgetown, with the only goal coming late in the second half off a corner kick. Knutsen's .849 save percentage sits third in the League, while his 0.77 goals-against average ranks fourth.

ALEX JAROSCAK, ARMY Fr., D, Weston, Fla.
Trailing 2-0 at home on Saturday night, Jaroscak assisted on Army's first tally in the 83rd minute and, after the Black Knights scored again just minutes later to force extra time, scored his first career goal in the 103rd minute to complete Army's 3-2 come-from-behind double-overtime win over Boston University. The goal lifted the Black Knights to 2-0 in the Patriot League and 7-1-1 on the season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
RACHEL MISKO, BUCKNELL Sr., F, Morristown, N.J.
Misko earns her second straight Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award after scoring the game-winning goal in Bucknell's 2-1 victory over Lafayette on Saturday. She helped the Bison move to 3-0 in the Patriot League and beat the Leopards for the first time since 2009, and first on the road since 2000. Misko has scored the game-winning goal in all three of Bucknell's Patriot League wins, and has six goals and an assist for the season. She earns her third career Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LIZ WILLS, BUCKNELL Jr., D, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
Wills had a strong effort on both sides of the field in Bucknell's 2-1 win over Lafayette on Saturday, scoring the Bison's opening goal while helping hold the Leopards to just five shots on goal in the game. The goal was the first of Wills' career. The defense also kept No. 18 Temple without a shot for the first 21:16 of the contest in a 3-1 loss on Sunday. Wills is named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the first time.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
AMANDA DiDOMIZIO, COLGATE Jr., GK, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
DiDomizio made eight saves in a 4-2 win over Siena and nearly led the Raiders to an upset of American on Saturday with nine saves in a 3-2 loss. She had six saves in the second half to help preserve the win over the Saints, and made six saves in the first half against American as Colgate rallied to tie the score at 2-2 before the Eagles scored in the final minutes to win. DiDomizio is named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time this season and fourth in her career.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
VICTORIA DeKEPPER, AMERICAN Fr., M, Lasne, Belgium
DeKepper scored her first two collegiate goals, including the game-winner in the 69th minute, to lead American to a 3-2 win over Colgate on Saturday. She opened the scoring in the fifth minute to give the Eagles an early advantage, and scored unassisted to win the game late when she sent in a shot from the top of the circle. DeKepper is named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the first time.

Cerda Eimbcke had a two-save shutout in a 2-0 win at Holy Cross on Friday and seven saves in a 3-1 loss to No. 13 Massachusetts on Sunday.

Laurito had the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory at Holy Cross on Friday.

Patriot League Volleyball Weekly Awards
MOLTEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KAYLEE FIFER, COLGATE Sr., S, Lantana, Texas
The facilitator in Colgate's offense, Fifer picks up her first weekly award of the season after powering the Raider attack with 11.88 assists per set in a pair of four-set wins on the road. She tallied 50 assists while pitching in 17 digs and five kills in Friday's 3-1 win at Lehigh, and followed it up with 45 assists and 12 digs for her fourth straight double-double in League play in Saturday's 3-1 victory at Navy. Fifer's final stat line for the week included a .263 hitting percentage while tallying 3.63 digs per set. She's taken the League lead in assists with 608 and is second with 10.31 per set.
MOLTEN ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA FAIRFIELD, ARMY Fr., OH, Iowa City, Iowa
Fairfield collects her second Rookie of the Week honor in the last three weeks after hitting .417 with 3.22 kills and 1.44 blocks per set in a pair of key Patriot League wins on the road. She started the weekend with 15 kills on 28 tries with three errors (.429) in Friday's 3-2 win at Loyola Maryland. In addition to her offensive contributions, she also came up with seven total blocks at the next, with six of the assisted variety. On Saturday she put together another stellar outing with 14 kills on 32 swings with just one error (.406) with six blocks (one solo) as Army handed American its first League loss of the season, 3-1. Fairfield, a rookie from Iowa City, Iowa, finished the weekend hitting .417 (29-4-60) with 13 total blocks (two solo).

JULIE CRUM, AMERICAN Sr., OH, Hacienda Heights, Calif.
Hit .439 and averaged 3.50 kills and 2.60 digs during the Eagles' 2-1 week in League play. Hit 10 kills with no errors in Wednesday's sweep of Loyola Maryland, and committed just one in Friday's straight-sets win over Holy Cross.
MARGAUX JARKA, ARMY Sr., OH, Rolling Prairie, Ind.
Averaged 3.56 kills and 2.22 digs while hitting .321 in two League victories. After hitting .361 in a thrilling five-set win at Loyola Maryland, added 17 kills and 12 digs in a four-set win at American.
AMY MATULA, LEHIGH So., S, Memphis, Tenn.
Averaged 11.29 assists and contributed eight kills to hit .444 during a 1-1 stretch in League play for the Mountain Hawks. Notched 40 assists (13.33 per set) in Saturday's straight-sets win over Bucknell.
JAC BULLOCK, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., MB, Aubrey, Texas
Hit .413 while averaging 3.44 kills in a 1-1 weekend for the Greyhounds. Notched 19 kills on 38 tries with one error (.474) in Saturday's sweep of Holy Cross. Also hit .320 in Friday's five-set loss to Army.
Patriot League Cross Country Weekly Awards
M-F ATHLETIC MALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
TYLER MUELLER, LEHIGH Sr., Pottstown, Pa.
Mueller ran a personal-best 23:58 to place sixth overall in a strong field at the prestigious Paul Short Run on Lehigh University's Goodman Campus. He topped his 8K previous best, which came at last year's Paul Short run, by more than 30 seconds. Mueller was the highest Lehigh finisher in the race since 1976, and was first among Patriot League competitors. Mueller wins his first Patriot League M-F Athletic Male Runner of the Week award.
M-F ATHLETIC FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
KIERA HARRISON, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., Syosset, N.Y.
Harrison led all Patriot League competitors and placed 21st overall with a time of 20:58 at the 6K Paul Short Run at Lehigh on Saturday. Her time was the second-fastest in Loyola women's cross country history over a 6k course, just seven seconds off her school record set earlier this year. Harrison was 40 seconds ahead of the next Patriot League finisher. She is named Patriot League M-F Athletic Female Runner of the Week for the first time.

BRENDAN JOHNSON, AMERICAN Fr., Waldorf, Md.
Johnson was the top finisher among Patriot League freshmen as he came in 71st place with a time of 25:07 at the 8K Paul Short Run at Lehigh on Saturday. He had the second-best finish of the day for the Eagles. Johnson earns his third Patriot League M-F Athletic Male Rookie of the Week award, tying Navy's Steve Schroeder (2012) for the most in League history.

CORINA VELAZCO, AMERICAN Fr., Miami, Fla.
Velazco was the top finisher for the Eagles and crossed the line first among all Patriot League freshmen with a time of 22:26 in the 6K Paul Short Run at Lehigh. She finished 175th overall in the strong field. Velazco is named Patriot League M-F Athletic Female Rookie of the Week for the first time.

Schroeder placed 14th at the Paul Short Run with a time of 24:24 on the 8K course, which also helped the Mids to an eighth-place finish in the prestigious race.

Beveridge placed 78th at the 6K Paul Short Run with a time of 21:38.

MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
MIKE NICHOLSON, BUCKNELL Sr., Chappaqua, N.Y.
Nicholson is starting off 2013-14 right where he left off after his junior campaign. In Saturday's unscored meet with UMBC, the senior accounted for three of the Bison's six victories in the meet. He won the 200 fly in 1:51.39, joining teammate Erik Heinemann as the only two swimmers under 1:59 in the race. Nicholson added wins in the 100 fly (51.33) and 50 fly (23.27) and was part of Bucknell's second-place relay in the 200 medley (1:35.69) in which he swam the third leg in 22.60.
FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
ARIANA BULLARD, ARMY Fr., Carmel, Ind.
Bullard picked up victories in the 100 fly and 200 IM as Army settled for a split of its first meet of the season on Friday, beating Vermont 197-103 but falling 154-106 to Boston University. Bullard was less than two seconds off the NCAA B cut time in the 100 fly with her race-winning clocking of 56.21 in her first collegiate meet. She also won the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.01.
MALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
JOSH URENZIS, ARMY Jr., Kihei, Hawaii
Urenzis has big shoes to fill after the graduation of Chris Nguyen, but he stepped right in and swept the boards in Army's 157-139 win over Boston University at Crandall Pool in West Point, N.Y. on Friday. He scored 293.50 points to win the three-meter competition, and netted 267.15 points for gold off the one-meter board.
FEMALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
CHELSEA GLINCMAN, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., North Brunswick, N.J.
Glincman was the only Terrier to win two events on Friday in a tri-meet at Army that also involved Vermont. The senior swept the one- and three-meter boards with 241.05 and 248.15 points, respectively. Glincman collects the first swimming and diving weekly award for a Terrier.

Won the one-meter competition with 232.95 points and took third from the three-meter board with 222.90 points versus UMBC.
