CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Sept. 9-15 in women's soccer, men's soccer, field hockey, volleyball and cross country.

BRINE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KATIE HOLDER, ARMY So., F, Stillwater, Minn.
Holder exploded with three goals and an assist for seven points in two Army victories over the weekend. She notched her team's only goal in Friday's 1-0 victory at Central Connecticut, picking up the tally in the 86th minute. She followed it up with a monster performance Sunday with a pair of goals and one dish in a 5-0 whitewash of Rhode Island at home. Holder opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a 12-yard strike, and assisted on Kimberly An's goal just under 30 minutes later to make it 2-0. She added an insurance goal in the second half to cap off her scoring for the week.

BRINE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KAI MILLER, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., D, Carpinteria, Calif.
Miller was on the field for 171 of 180 minutes across a pair of 1-0 wins at home for the Terriers over key regional opponents. She started Friday's game against Connecticut and was responsible for the team save in the 75th minute while backing up goalkeeper Andrea Green to preserve the one-goal lead. On Sunday Miller played 81 minutes and led a stifling defensive effort that limited Providence to just four shots overall and two on net in another one-goal win for Boston University. Miller's efforts helped the Terriers improve to 4-0-1 at home with five shutouts.

BRINE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
JORDAN CASSALIA, ARMY Fr., GK, Omaha, Neb.
Cassalia earns her first career weekly award from the Patriot League after notching two victories over the weekend and picking up the shutout in Friday's 1-0 decision at Central Connecticut. The rookie from Omaha, Neb., finished with eight saves on the weekend, with four in each contest. After going the distance Friday versus the Blue Devils, Cassalia started and played 83:57 of Sunday's 5-0 win over Rhode Island. Three of her four saves against the Rams were close-range opportunities. Friday's win was her third shutout of the season, and she has a 4-3-1 mark with 28 saves on the season.

BRINE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ERICA KOSIENSKI, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., F, Plantsville, Conn.
Kosienski picks up her second straight Rookie of the Week nod after coming off the bench to score the game-winner in the 42nd minute to lead Boston University to a 1-0 victory over Providence on Sunday. She beat the Friar keeper to the ball, juked to her left and fired into the open net to give the Terriers a lead they would not relinquish.

ANDREA GREEN, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., GK, Nashua, N.H.
Picked up a pair of shutout victories for the Terriers totaling seven saves against Connecticut and Providence.

MURPHEE GREELEY, LEHIGH Sr., M, Devon, Pa.
Named MVP of the Saint Mary's College Classic with the game-winning goal and an insurance assist in Lehigh's 2-0 win over the hosts on Sunday.

ANI NAHAPETIAN, LEHIGH So., GK, Pleasanton, Calif.
Made five saves in Lehigh's 2-0 victory over Saint Mary's to give the Mountain Hawks the title at the Saint Mary's College Classic. Her save of a penalty kick with about 10 minutes remaining and Lehigh up a pair helped deliver the title, as goal differential was used to determine the tournament winner.

JADE SEABROOK, NAVY Jr., D, St. Paris, Ohio
Played 176 of 180 minutes and anchored a Midshipmen defense that won two matches with one shutout while surrendering just one goal. Sunday's clean sheet versus Iona was Navy's fourth this season, while the Gaels managed just two shots and one on net for the game.

ASHLYNN SOELLNER, NAVY Sr., F, Hollidaysburg, Pa.
Erupted for two goals and an assist for five points in Navy's 3-0 shutout of Iona.

Patriot League Men's Soccer Weekly Awards

BRINE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JESSE KLUG, BUCKNELL So., F, Sammamish, Wash.
Klug extended his goal-scoring streak to three straight games with markers in both Bison shutout wins over the weekend. He tallied the lone goal in Friday's 1-0 victory at Albany over a Great Danes team that went on to upset No. 22 Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday. Klug matched his goal-scoring output from last year with his third marker of the season when he notched the opening tally in Sunday's 2-0 blanking at Siena. Bucknell has won four straight since opening the season 0-2.

BRINE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MAYOWA ALLI, BUCKNELL Sr., D, Lanham, Md.
Alli repeats as Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Bison back line to two more shutouts over the weekend, both on the road. The senior from Lanham, Md., played every minute of both games for the Bison defense that surrendered five shots on goal in each match and just eight shots total to Siena. Sunday's match against the Saints marked the fourth time this season the Bison have held an opponent under 10 shots.

BRINE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
THURMAN VAN RIPER, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., GK, Groton, Mass.
Van Riper averaged 5.0 saves per game in two shutout victories last week, helping the Greyhounds to stretch their unbeaten streak to five straight since the start of the season. On Wednesday Van Riper made three saves as Loyola won 1-0 at Quinnipiac, and he added seven more stops in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Campbell at home. Van Riper made five saves in the first 45 minutes against the Fighting Camels, including a critical one-on-one stop to keep them off the board. He added two more strong saves in the second half to preserve Loyola's lead.

BRINE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
DAVID ASBJORNSSON, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., D/M, Reykjavik, Iceland
Asbjornsson came up huge defensively for the Terriers in two victories last week. He moved back to the center middle back position for Wednesday's game against Hofstra in place of 2011 America East Defender of the Year Kelvin Madzongwe and came up with several big defensive plays, including a handful of clears on crossing passes, to anchor the Terriers' defensive efforts in an eventual 2-1 victory. Saturday against preseason MAAC favorite Monmouth, Asbjornsson returned to his normal midfield position but again played a key defensive role in fending off six Hawk corner kicks and other chances in the Terriers'3-0 victory.

BILLY KNUTSEN, AMERICAN Sr., GK, San Franciso, Calif.
Made four saves as American went to a scoreless draw with unbeaten Hartford on the road.

WINSTON BOLDT, ARMY Jr., GK, St. Louis, Mo.
Stopped seven shots across two more shutout victories, giving him five for the season.

TRASE STAPLEY, ARMY Fr., D, Hooper, Utah
Scored the game-winner in the 104th minute to lift Army to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Fordham on Saturday evening. Also contributed to a Black Knight defense that has yet to yield a goal in five straight victories.

ANTHONY CICCONE, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., M, Sparta, N.J.
Logged three assists in two victories, including a pair of dishes in Saturday's 3-0 win over Monmouth.

MIKE LANSING, BUCKNELL So., GK, Randolph, N.J.
Posted back-to-back five-save shutouts over the weekend, 1-0 at Albany and 2-0 at Siena.

ZACH PAGANI, COLGATE Fr., F, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Netted his first two career goals including the game-winner in Colgate's 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on Sunday.

NATHAN McDONALD, LAFAYETTE Sr., GK, Bay Village, Ohio
Posted his second and third shutouts of the season on the road at Dartmouth and Harvard over the weekend in back-to-back scoreless ties. Made eight saves across the two games.

BEN WYSOCKI, LEHIGH Sr., D, Lower Makefield, Pa.
Tallied a three-point week, picking up an assist in Thursday's 2-1 loss to Drexel and his team's only goal in Sunday's 1-0 win over Yale.

LARRY NDJOCK, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., F, Berlin, Germany
Tallied two of his team's three goals on the week and both game-winners against Quinnipiac and Campbell. Now has a League-best six goals and 12 points on the season.

Patriot League Field Hockey Weekly Awards

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ELIANA BROWN, COLGATE Jr., F, Annandale, Va.
Brown recorded her second career hat trick to provide all of Colgate's scoring in a 3-1 victory over St. Francis (Pa.) on Sunday. Two of the goals came in the first 15 minutes and the hat trick was natural as she scored the first three goals of the contest overall. She also added an assist in a 3-2 overtime loss against Lock Haven on Saturday. Brown leads the Patriot League with six goals and 13 points. She is named Offensive Player of the Week for the first time.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
YSI SCHIEB, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., D, Gold Coast, Australia
Schieb played two solid games on defense as the Terriers held a pair of opponents to one goal over the weekend, and stepped up on the other end as well with assists on both BU goals in a 2-1 overtime win against Providence on Sunday. The Terriers rallied from a halftime deficit to earn the win. BU also held No. 17 Boston College to just one goal in a loss on Friday. Schieb is named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the second time.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
VALENTINA CERDA EIMBCKE, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., GK, Santiago, Chile
Cerda Eimbcke allowed just one goal in each of BU's contests over the weekend, keeping the Terriers close in a 1-0 loss to No. 17 Boston College on Friday and helping spur a comeback in a 2-1 overtime win against Providence on Sunday. She matched her season high with nine saves in the loss to the Eagles, including eight in the first half as the Terriers kept the match scoreless for 60 minutes. Cerda Eimbcke made five saves in the victory over the Friars, including a pair in the final minute of regulation and one on a penalty stroke in overtime to keep the game going before the Terriers won in the 85th minute. Cerda Eimbcke had a 0.90 goals against average and .875 save percentage for the weekend, and leads the Patriot League in both categories for the season (1.28 GAA, .826 SV PCT). She is named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
MAYA LANGMAN, HOLY CROSS Fr., GK, Crozet, Va.
Langman made eight saves in a 1-0 win over Sacred Heart on Sunday, preserving the shutout by making five stops on five straight penalty corners from the 62nd-64th minute. It was her first career shutout and victory after making her starting debut in a 4-0 loss to Harvard on Friday. Langman made five saves in that contest and held the Crimson scoreless through 52 minutes of play. Langman is named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the first time.

HONORABLE MENTION
REBECCA TREHARNE, AMERICAN Jr., D, Llanelli, Wales
Treharne had two goals and an assist in a 1-1 week for the Eagles, with both tallies coming in a 4-1 win over Columbia on Sunday.

SOFI LAURITO, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., M/F, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Laurito scored the game-winning goal at the end of overtime to lead the Terriers to a 2-1 win over Providence on Sunday.

LEIGH HILLMAN, BUCKNELL Sr., F, Dallas, Pa.
Hillman scored the game-winning goal in Bucknell's 2-1 triumph over Penn on Sunday.

AMANDA DiDOMIZIO, COLGATE Jr., GK, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
DiDomizio made 21 saves in two games last week, including 13 in a 3-1 win over St. Francis (Pa.) on Sunday.

MARISSA GLATT, LEHIGH Fr., F/M/D, Doylestown, Pa.
Glatt had a goal in each of Lehigh's games over the weekend, and has now scored a goal in four straight contests for the Mountain Hawks.

Patriot League Volleyball Weekly Awards

MOLTEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KRISTYNA LINDOVSKA, AMERICAN Jr., RS, Ostrava, Czech Republic
American is 10-0 for the first time in program history after Lindovska led the Eagles to three more 3-0 sweeps at the Crowne Plaza Invitational hosted by Penn over the weekend. The junior right-side hitter connected for 30 kills on 68 swings with eight errors to hit .324 while averaging 3.75 kills and 1.75 digs per set. Lindovska tallied double-digit kills twice, with 12 on 28 tries against Weber State and 11 on 19 swings against La Salle. She also contributed 14 digs, three aces and nine blocks across eight sets. Lindovksa played two of the three sets versus the Explorers, and averaged 5.0 kills, 2.5 total blocks and 2.0 digs per frame in the sweep.

MOLTEN ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
MARIAH BRANTLEY, LEHIGH Fr., L, Ashburn, Va.
Brantley had a breakout week subbing in for two-time Patriot League Libero of the Year Rachel Charles, who was sidelined with an injury. Making her first career start, the rookie from Ashburn, Va., tallied 26 digs, the most for a Lehigh libero this season, in a five-set loss to Morgan State. She reached the 20-dig mark again later in the weekend in another five-setter, this time a 3-2 win over Marist on Saturday. Brantley added a 16-dig performance against St. Francis (N.Y.) and a 13-dig showing against Quinnipiac, both sweep victories. For the weekend, Brantley averaged 4.69 digs per set with 75 across 16 frames and contributed four aces.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
JORDAN WALKER, BUCKNELL Fr., OH, Euclid, Ohio
Hit .292 in a pair of Bucknell victories in three matches while averaging 2.29 kills per set. Committed just one error in 25 swings across five sets in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson and was named to the Bucknell Invitational All-Tournament Team.

KATHLEEN HARRIS, COLGATE Fr., OH, Playa del Rey, Calif.
Averaged 3.08 kills and 3.41 digs per set while hitting .248 for the Raiders during a 2-1 weekend at the LIU Blackbird Invite. Finished with 105 swings, including 88 across two matches against Fairfield and LIU.

NATALIE WELSCH, HOLY CROSS Fr., RS, Eden Prairie, Minn.
Posted another strong week averaging 3.14 kills per frame during the Crusaders' 2-2 stretch. Hit .353 in the team's sweep at Hartford.

BRIANNE GIANGIOBBE, LAFAYETTE So., OH, Bethlehem, Pa.
Averaged 2.92 digs per frame and hit .247 as Lafayette went 3-1 on the week. Accrued at least three total blocks in three matches, all wins.

JADE VAN STREEPEN, LEHIGH Jr., OH, Austin, Texas
Averaged 2.68 kills and 2.63 digs per set during Lehigh's 3-2 week, including three wins at the Crosstown Tournament. Added nine blocks and seven aces, and committed just one striking error in each of the team's last two matches of the weekend.

ERIN FORTNER, NAVY Sr., Opp., Villa Hills, Ky.
Posted two double-doubles, including a mammoth 18-kill, 20-dig performance in a five-set heartbreaker against Northern Kentucky. Totaled 55 kills and 52 digs on the week, averaging 3.33 and 3.08 per set, respectively.

Patriot League Cross Country Weekly Awards

M-F ATHLETIC MALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
STEVE SCHROEDER, NAVY So., Monticello, Ill.
Schroeder earns the M-F Athletic Male Runner of the Week honor for the second straight time after taking first place in the 8K Navy Invitational on Saturday with a time of 23:55.69. The meet included Georgetown and American, two teams ranked ahead of the Mids in the preseason USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region rankings. Schroeder ran the fourth-fastest time on the USNA Cross Country Course. Schroeder won for the second straight meet after claiming the crown at the Fordham Fiasco last weekend.

M-F ATHLETIC FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
ANNIE-NORAH BEVERIDGE, NAVY Jr., Ann Arbor, Mich.
Beveridge sets a Patriot League record with her seventh career M-F Athletic Female Runner of the Week award, and does it in style after winning Navy's Salty Dog Invitational with a time of 20:46.23 in the 6K race. The time set a USNA Cross Country Course record and led the Mids to their third-straight team title in the event. Beveridge earns her second weekly honor of the season. The seven career awards top American's Keira Carlstrom (2002-05) for the most in Patriot League history.

M-F ATHLETIC MALE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BRENDAN JOHNSON, AMERICAN Fr., Waldorf, Md.
Johnson earns his second straight Patriot League M-F Athletic Male Rookie of the Week award after placing 13th at the Navy Invitational on Saturday with a time of 25:02.62. It was the second-best finish of the day for the Eagles and the top mark among all freshmen in the race.

M-F ATHLETIC FEMALE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BRENNA McDANNOLD, NAVY Fr., Overland Park, Kansas
McDannold was the second freshman finisher at Navys Salty Dog Invitational and placed 11th overall in the 6K race with a time of 21:48.26. She was just over a second ahead of American's Corina Velazco as the top freshman finisher among three Patriot League schools. McDannold wins the Patriot League M-F Athletic Female Rookie of the Week award for the first time.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
MICHAEL McGOWAN, BUCKNELL Jr., Ardmore, Pa.
McGowan placed second in the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State with a time of 26:03 in the 5.2 mile race.

KIERA HARRISON, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., Syosset, N.Y.
Harrison finished second in the Salty Dog Invitational with a time of 20:51.75 in the 6K race.

JULIA SULLIVAN, AMERICAN Sr., Northampton, Mass.
Sullivan placed fifth in the Salty Dog Invitational with a time of 21:25.48 in the 6K race.
