Patriot League Network

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Football takes center stage this weekend with five contests Saturday on Patriot League Network.

It's part of a full schedule of games across four fall sports this weekend, beginning with two contests Friday. Lehigh volleyball hosts Fairleigh Dickinson at 5 p.m., followed by Bucknell men's soccer taking on Buffalo in Lewisburg, Pa.

Four of Saturday's football games are home openers for Patriot League squads. Lehigh entertains Central Connecticut at 12:30 p.m., Holy Cross is home for No. 5/6 Towson at 1 p.m., Bucknell plays host to Marist at 6 p.m. and Colgate welcomes in-state rival Albany at 6 p.m. The fifth football tilt features Fordham hosting No. 8/11 Villanova, which is the second home game of the season for the Rams.

Lehigh volleyball is back on the schedule Saturday as well. The Mountain Hawks open the day's festivities on the Network with a 9 a.m. match with Wright State. At noon Bucknell women's soccer will host St. Francis (Pa.).

Soccer takes over on Sunday, with the Navy women welcoming St. Bonaventure at noon, the Bucknell men playing La Salle at 2 p.m. and the Lehigh women at home for Central Connecticut at 3 p.m.

After an off day on Monday, three women's soccer teams will be featured in 7 p.m. contests on Tuesday, with Bucknell hosting No. 14 Penn State, Holy Cross at home for Bryant and Loyola Maryland welcoming local rival UMBC. In addition, Lehigh volleyball will return to the Network with a 7 p.m. match at home with Villanova.
