Army West Point Maintains Patriot League Presidents’ Cup Standings Lead through Winter Championships (3.25.26)

Black Knights are first in the overall and women’s standings; Navy tops the men’s leaderboard

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point maintained its lead in the 2025-26 Patriot League Presidents’ Cup standings through the winter sports championship season, with Navy, Boston University, Lehigh and Bucknell rounding out the top five in the overall standings.
 
The defending Patriot League Presidents’ Cup champion Black Knights claimed 44.5 points during the winter to accumulate 86.75 total points.  Army West Point registered runner-up finishes in men’s and women’s indoor track and field, and men’s and women’s swimming and diving.  
 
Navy climbed to second in the overall standings with 54.5 points during the winter, giving them 82.75 points. The Mids won Patriot League titles in men’s indoor track and field, and men’s and women’s swimming and diving. Navy also claimed regular-season titles in men’s and women’s basketball.
 
Boston University is third overall (78.75) and third in the men’s (36) and women’s (42.75) standings, after capturing the women’s indoor track and field title. Lehigh is fourth overall with 70.5 points and second in the men’s standings (37.25) after winning the Patriot League men’s basketball championship. Bucknell (67.75) rounds out the overall top five with its winter season highlighted by a third-place finish in women’s swimming.
 
Navy sits atop the men’s standings, scoring 27.75 points during the winter season for a total of 38.75. Lehigh posted 17.25 points on the men’s side, giving them 37.25 points through six men’s championships. Boston University is third with 36 points, with 22 points coming during the winter championship season.   
 
Army West Point remains atop the women’s leaderboard with 52.5 points, including 26 points during the winter. Navy’s women scored a League-best 26.75 during the winter season, helping them move to second with 44 points. Boston University is third with 42.75 points, with 20.75 coming during the winter season.
 
Points for the Patriot League Presidents' Cup are awarded based on a combination of a team's performance in the regular-season standings and postseason finish. In cross country, golf, rowing, swimming and diving, and track and field, the points are awarded based on the final team finish at the Patriot League Championship. The points for football are based on the final regular-season standings.
