CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Oct. 6-12 in men and women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, men and women's cross country and men and women's swimming & diving on Monday.
Patriot League Men's Soccer Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JAMIE DUBYOSKI, NAVY Jr., F, Catonsville, Md.
Dubyoski tallied three points in a 2-0 week as the Mids surged into second place in the Patriot League standings. The junior scored the game-winner in a 2-0 win over Colgate on Saturday after assisting on a goal in Navy's 2-0 win over then-#20 American earlier in the week. This is the second weekly award for the Patriot League preseason Offensive Player of the Year.
CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KELVIN MADZONGWE, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., D, Magwegwe, Zimbabwe
Madzongwe earned his second Corvias Defensive Player of the Week award with a strong performance on the Terriers back line in a pair of shutouts. The senior defender played all 180 minutes in wins over Holy Cross and Lehigh and also assisted on BU's only goal in a 1-0 win over the Crusaders. The Terriers are riding a seven-game unbeaten streak and have not been scored upon in more than 280 minutes.

JACKSON MORGAN, NAVY Jr., GK, Brecksville, Ohio
Morgan registered his third consecutive Patriot League shutout with a pair of clean sheets during the Mids 2-0 week. The junior stopped five shots as Navy knocked off then-#20 American 2-0 on Wednesday and recorded four more saves in the Mids 2-0 win against Colgate over the weekend.

ARNO RUPP, HOLY CROSS Fr. F, Wolfsberg, Austria
Rupp had a hand in all three goals as the Crusaders picked up a 3-2 road victory at Lafayette Saturday in double overtime. The freshman scored the first goal to give Holy Cross a 1-0 lead and assisted on the goal that put the Crusaders in front 2-1. After the Leopards netted the equalizer late in regulation, Rupp again provided the helper on the game-winning goal by Joey DeVivo in the second overtime.

NICK THOMSON, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., GK, Cramlington, England
Thomson earned his fifth and sixth shutouts of the season with 10 saves in wins over Holy Cross and Lehigh.

Played all 180 minutes on the backline as the Mids posted shutouts over No. 20 American and Colgate.
JESSE KLUG, BUCKNELL Jr., F, Sammamish, Wash.
Klug had two goals and an assist in Bucknell's 4-1 win over Loyola Maryland.
CHRISTIAN CLARK, ARMY So., M, Pleasanton, Calif.
Clark scored his first career goal and assisted on the game-winner in Army's 2-1 win over Loyola Maryland.
SPENCER GOLDSTEIN, ARMY Fr., F, Littleton, Colo.
Goldstein's first career goal was the game-winner in Army's 2-1 win over Colgate.

Amirani scored the game-winner in the Terriers 2-0 win at Lehigh on Saturday.

SARAH COY, COLGATE So., F, Boca Raton, Fla.
Coy captures weekly award honors for the second consecutive week by netting three goals, including game-winners in a pair of 2-1 Colgate victories. After scoring the winning goal in the 54th minute of a 2-1 win at Cornell on Monday, Coy followed that up with a two-goal performance in a 2-1 victory at Holy Cross as the Raiders improved to a 4-0-1 record in the Patriot League.

JADE SEABROOK, NAVY Sr., D, St. Paris, Ohio
Seabrook played all 180 minutes in which she guided Navy's backline to a shutout against Bucknell and allowed only one goal in a 2-1 win at Penn. Seabrook helped limit the Bison and Quakers top scorers to a total of just two shots. It is the second Corvias Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season for the Ohio native.

JORDAN CASSALIA, ARMY So., GK, Omaha, Neb.
Cassalia recorded eight saves in a 2-1 victory against American one week after recording her first shutout of the season in a win over Loyola. The sophomore came up big with a pair of stops late in the second half on an Eagles penalty kick where she made the initial save and then smothered the rebound attempt to preserve the one-goal lead. This is the second Corvais Goalkeeper of the Week honor for Cassalia.

CLARE MACADAM, NAVY Fr., F, Palmyra, N.J.
MacAdam picked up her second Corvais Rookie of the Week award of the season with a two-goal effort in the Mids 3-0 win over Bucknell. The freshman netted her second game-winning goal of the season in the 18th minute against the Bison and increased her season total to a team-best five goals as Navy improved to 3-1-1 in the Patriot League.

Nahapetian recorded her fourth shutout of the season after stopping two shots in a 0-0 tie with Loyola Maryland.

Holder lifted Army to its first road win of the season with the game-winner in a 2-1 victory at American.
CLARE SHEA, ARMY Fr., M, Allendale, N.J.
Shea scored Army's first goal against American since 2012 with her second of the year in a 2-1 road win.
EMILY CRICHLOW, COLGATE Fr., F, Edmonds, Wash.
Crichlow registered assists on both goals in Colgate's 2-1 win at Cornell.

LEAH DiGIANDOMENICO, AMERICAN Fr., F, Elkridge, Md.
DiGiandomenico tallied the lone goal of the contest in a 1-0 win at Lafayette on Saturday to bring the Eagles to 2-1 in the Patriot League. DiGiandomenico tallied in the 41st minute on her only shot of the game for her second goal of the season, both of which were game-winners.

LIZ WILLS, BUCKNELL Sr., D, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
Wills led a dominant effort on both ends of the field for the Bison as she scored a pair of goals and directed a defense that did not allow a shot on goal in two shutouts over the weekend. Wills had a goal off a penalty corner in each game as the Bison topped Holy Cross 4-0 on Saturday and won at UMass-Lowell 2-0 on Sunday. Bucknell did not give up a shot against the Crusaders and did not permit a shot on goal versus UMass-Lowell. Wills is tied for the Patriot League lead with seven goals and 16 points, and earns her second Corvias Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week award this season to go with an honor on offense.

KATE McBEATH, AMERICAN Jr., GK, Barhamsville, Va.
McBeath earned her seventh shutout of the season by making five saves in a 1-0 triumph over Lafayette on Saturday. She helped the Eagles win a game where they were outshot 14-5 and gave up eight penalty corners while earning only two. McBeath earns her second Corvias Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week award of the year.

KALI SHUMOCK, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., M/F, Bethlehem, Pa.
Shumock had a goal in a pair of victories for the Terriers as she tallied in a 2-1 win over Providence on Wednesday and had the lone marker in a 1-0 shutout of Lehigh on Sunday. Shumock scored the first goal for the Terriers against the Friars in the 16th minute, and had the only score of the contest in the 51st minute against the Mountain Hawks. Shumock is named Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

VALENTINA CERDA EIMBCKE, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., GK, Santiago, Chile
Cerda Eimbcke totaled 16 saves combined in a 2-1 win over Providence on Wednesday and 2-1 shootout loss to No. 6 Connecticut on Sunday, and also shut out Lehigh in a 1-0 win on Saturday.
AMANDA CASSERA, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., F, Fairfield, N.J.
Cassera had an assist in a 2-1 win over Providence on Wednesday, and scored with just over six minutes left in regulation to send the game to overtime in a 2-1 shootout loss to No. 6 Connecticut on Sunday.
RACHEL COLL, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., D, Greymouth, New Zealand
Coll had a goal in a 2-1 win over Providence on Wednesday and anchored a defense that allowed just two goals in three games last week.
GRACE WILSON, AMERICAN Sr., D, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Wilson helped the Eagles record their seventh shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Lafayette.
ABBY WATSON, BUCKNELL Jr., F, Medford, N.J.
Watson had a goal and an assist in Bucknell's 4-0 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

MOLTEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GABY SMITH, NAVY So., OH, Virginia Beach, Va.
Smith led Navy in both kills (4.00 kps) and hitting percentage (.362) as the Mids swept a pair of Patriot League matches from Holy Cross and rival Army. Also ranked second on the team, and first among non-liberos, with 2.83 digs per set and chipped in with two service aces and two blocks in the win over the Crusaders.

ERIN SWARTZ, AMERICAN Fr., MB, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Swartz averaged 2.56 kills per set and had a .576 attack percentage as the Eagles swept Loyola, Lehigh and Colgate to extend their winning streak to 12 games and a perfect 7-0 in the Patriot League. The freshman set a personal best with 10 kills against Lehigh and followed that effort with nine in the win over the Raiders.

KEVIN THOMAS, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., Marshfield, Mass.
Thomas placed ninth at the New England Championship with a time of 24:49.39 on the 8K course. He placed in the top 10 for a second straight race and helped BU to a fifth-place showing in a 39-team field.

MICHELLE SUMNER, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., Annandale, N.J.
Sumner came in eighth place at the New England Championship with a time of 17:56.08 on the 5K course. She led the Terriers to a 10th-place finish in the 38-team field by recording her third top-10 finish of the season. Sumner is named M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

HANNAH JETER, HOLY CROSS Fr., Eden Prairie, Minn.
Jeter came in 14th place at the New England Championship by finishing the 5K race in a time of 18:08. She was the third freshman to finish the race and helped Holy Cross to a 14th-place finish out of 38 teams. Jeter is named M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week for the second straight time after earning the Runner of the Week honor on Sept. 22.

MARLIN BRUTKIEWICZ, NAVY So., Mobile, Ala.
Brutkiewicz picked up three wins as Navy opened the season with meets against Georgia Tech and George Mason. The sophomore swept the 100M (1:02.94) and 200M (2:18.33) breaststroke events against Georgia Tech and also won the 100M (1:03.90) breaststroke versus George Mason. The 100M time against the Ramblin Wreck ranks fourth in program history.

KAITLYN RUFFING, LEHIGH So., Murrysville, Pa.
Ruffing took home three firsts and a third place finish in individual events as the Mountain Hawks split with Boston U. and Holy Cross to open the season. The sophomore won the 50 (23.94) and 100 (52.58) freestyle against the Terriers and the 50 (24.66) freestyle versus the Crusaders. Ruffing also was a member of the 200M medley relay team that won twice and the 500 free relay squad that defeated BU.
CORVIAS MALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
NATE BELCH, NAVY Fr., Tucson, Ariz.
Belch swept both the 1m (285.98) and 3m (332.10) boards against George Mason and took second in the 1m (275.55) and third in 3m (251.33) versus Georgia Tech to open the season. The two wins against the Patriots came by a total of nearly 115 points. The 3m score against George Mason qualified Belch for the 2015 NCAA Zone Diving Meet.

JULIE JESSE, NAVY Jr. Edwardsburg, Mich.
Jesse qualified for the first NCAA Zone Diving Meet of her career with a score of 270.60 on the 1m board against George Mason. The junior also captured the 3m event against the Patriots with a 252.30 score. In the opening week against Georgia Tech, Jesse finished second on the 1m board (255.53) and fourth in the 3m (254.40).
