Patriot Leaguers Earn Additional Weekly Recognition

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Student-athletes in each of the five Patriot League fall team sports earned weekly recognition from national or regional outlets in recent days.

Four of the weekly honors came from the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Colgate sophomore Sarah Coy was selected as the Corvias ECAC Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week, Navy junior Jackson Morgan clamed the Corvias ECAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honor, American junior Kate McBeath was named the Corvias ECAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week and Lehigh sophomore Mariah Brantley took home the Corvias ECAC Volleyball Co-Libero of the Week award.

Morgan's teammate, Joseph Greenspan, was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for his role in the Mids' shutouts of American and Colgate.

A pair of players were honored in football, with Bucknell junior Will Carter selected as the FCS wide receiver of the week by both College Football Performance Awards and USA College Football and Georgetown senior Alec May named the Defensive Lineman of the Week by USA College Football.
