Nov. 26, 2014 CENTER VALLY, Pa. — The Patriot League honored American senior setter Monika Smidova with the Rockin’ Refuel® Performance of the Week after she led the Eagles to their second straight Patriot League volleyball championship on Sunday.
Smidova, a native of Plzen, Czech Republic, was named the Patriot League Tournament MVP, posting 64 assists in a pair of sweeps of Army and Lehigh to deliver American's 12th championship since joining the League in 2001. Through the tournament, she has 1,071 assists. 333 digs and 39 service aces.
