Patriot League Weekly Awards - 1.12.15 
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Jan. 5-11 in men and women's swimming and diving as well as men and women's indoor track and field.

CORVIAS MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
JAMAL WILLIS, LEHIGH So., Philadelphia, Pa.
Willis was responsible for two of the six wins the Mountain Hawks posted on Friday against Army. The sophomore swept the sprint freestyle events, winning the 50 free by more than a second and the 100 free by .33. Willis' time of 20.60 in the 50 free broke the Jacobs pool record of 20.73 he established during his freshman campaign.

KAITLYN RUFFING, LEHIGH So., Murrysville, Pa.
Ruffing won her third Corvias Patriot League Swimmer of the Week honor with a strong performance in the Mountain Hawks loss to Army. The sophomore swept the 50 and 100 free events and also swam the anchor leg on the victorious 400 medley relay squad. Ruffing captured the 50 free by .65 seconds over defending Patriot League champion Molly Mucciarone and set a new Jacobs Pool record of 51.99 in winning the 100 free.

TYLER WENZEL, BUCKNELL Jr., Telford, Pa.
Wenzel won one event and finished as runner-up in two others as the Bison split meets with Army and Binghamton over the weekend. Scored 274.50 to win the 3-meter event against the Black Knights and also was second in the 1-meter with a score of 250.95. Went over the 270 mark in both events against the Bearcats finishing second on the 1-meter board and third on the 3-meter.

TARA BOYLE, BUCKNELL Sr., Winnetka, Ill.
Boyle was the Bison top finisher in three of four diving events as Bucknell swept meets with Army and Binghamton over the weekend. Against the Black Knights, the senior won the 1-meter event and finished as runner-up to teammate Katie Hetherington on the 3-meter. Boyle followed that up with a pair of second place finishes against Binghamton and has finished in the top two in each event in the last three meets.

CHRIS SZEKELY, ARMY Jr., Doylestown, Pa.
Szekely won three individual events and took part in four relay wins as the Black Knights swept Lehigh and Bucknell in a pair of dual meets.
CHRIS DEVLIN, BUCKNELL Fr., Dresher, Pa.
Devlin won four individual events and participated in one relay win as the Bison men split meets against Army and Binghamton.
JULIANNA FOSS, BUCKNELL Fr., Medford, N.J.
Foss was one of three double-winners for the Bison women in a win over Army and also swam the third leg of 200 medley victory. Captured the 200 back to help Bucknell defeat Binghamton.
MARLIN BRUTKIEWICZ, NAVY So., Mobile, Ala.
Brutkiewicz won both breaststroke events and swam the fastest leg for the Mids 200 Medley Relay squad against North Carolina.

ANDREW GARCIA-GARRISON, BUCKNELL Sr., Detroit, Mich.
Garcia-Garrison won the 3,000-meter run at the Penn State Relays with a time of 8:21.56, setting an IC4A standard while toppling a nine-year old meet record. He won against a field that included competitors from the host Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh, Princeton, Maryland and West Virginia, and his time ranks 21st on the NCAA qualifying list.

KIM NAGOTKO, BUCKNELL Sr., Mahwah, N.J.
Nagotko placed in the top 10 in a pair of races at the Penn State Relays. She came in fifth place out of 34 runners in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.36, and finished in eighth in the 60-meter in a time of 7.68.

ADEOLU ADESIDA, LEHIGH Sr., Princeton, N.J.
Adesida had one of the top high jumps in the nation this season as he posted a mark of 2.15 meters to take first place at the Army 5-Way on Saturday. The IC4A qualifying mark was .16 meters better than the second-place finisher and tied Adesida for the third-best high jump on the NCAA qualifying list.

BRIYAH BROWN, ARMY Fr., New Rochelle, N.Y.
Brown wins the M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week honors after winning both the weight throw and shot put with ECAC qualifying marks at the Army 5-Way on Saturday. She won the shot put with a toss of 13.87 meters, and claimed the weight throw with a mark of 16.71 me-ters. Brown opens her career with a second straight Field Athlete of the Week honor, and claims her first Rookie of the Week award.

DEVIN ENSLEN, NAVY Fr., Alamogordo, N.M.
Enslen had four top-five finishes last week as he competed in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dash against Princeton on Monday and at home for the Navy Invite on Saturday. The highlight was a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the Navy Invite with an IC4A qualifying time of 22.14 He also finished sec-ond in the 60-meter dash on Saturday while placing third in the 200-meter and fifth in the 60-meter against Princeton.

STEVE SCHROEDER, NAVY Jr., Monticello, N.Y.
Schroeder won the mile against Princeton with an IC4A qualifying time of 4:11.02.
TOM BUFFONE, NAVY Sr., Freehold, N.J.
Buffone posted four IC4A qualifying marks last week, with two coming in both the weight throw and the shot put.
BRIAN MONAHAN, BUCKNELL Sr., Gettysburg, Pa.
Monahan posted IC4A qualifying marks in both the weight throw and shot put at the Penn State Relays.
COURTNEY AVERY, LEHIGH So., Wynantskill, N.Y.
Avery won the high jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 1.71 meters at the Army 5-Way.
