CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Jan. 12-Jan. 18 in men and women's swimming and diving as well as men and women's indoor track and field.

CORVIAS MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
JACOB MOYAR, LEHIGH
So., Centreville, Va.
Moyar posted four individual wins and also contributed to one relay victory as the Mountain Hawks swept Loyola Maryland and NJIT over the weekend. The sophomore won the 1000 freestyle and 200 fly on both days and set a new pool record of 9:54.32 in the meet against the Highlanders contested in Montclair State University's Panzer Pool. Lehigh's 200 Medley Relay team set a meet record against NJIT with a time of 1:37.99 with Moyar swimming the breaststroke leg in 23.56 seconds.

COURTNEY PATTERSON, LEHIGH

Patterson went a perfect 3-for-3 in individual events as the Mountain Hawks defeated Loyola Maryland 186-108 on Saturday. The junior captured the 200 IM (2:11.93), 500 free (5:09.59) and 1000 free (10:35.93) as Lehigh won 13 of 14 swimming events on the afternoon.

JOSH URNEZIS, ARMY
Sr., Kihei, Hawaii
Urnezis dominated on both boards as the Army men swept Colgate and Lafayette in a tri-meet on Saturday. On the 1-meter the senior scored well over the NCAA Zone qualifying mark, earning two eight scores and finishing with a career-high score of 333.33. On the 3-meter he scored a respectable 316.50, which was also a career-high. Finished more than 100 points ahead of the runner-up in both events.

MAGGIE GARRAHAN, LOYOLA MARYLAND
Fr., East Sandwich, Mass.
Garrahan led a 1-2-3 finish on the boards as the Greyhound women swept both diving events in a dual meet against Lehigh on Saturday. The freshman captured the 3m with a score of 215.32 and followed that up with a total of 199.87 in the 1m event.

Honorable mention

TARA MULLIGAN, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., Bellerose, N.Y.
Mulligan captured the 100 breast and swam a leg on the Greyhounds runner-up 200 medley relay against Lehigh.

AIDAN O'HARA, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., Sterling, Va.
O'Hara won the 200 back and 200 IM in the Greyhounds dual meet with Lehigh. The sophomore also added a second in the 100 back.

NOEL THEROUX, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., Deer Park, N.Y.
Theroux won the 1m diving event and was second in the 3m in the Greyhounds dual meet with Lehigh.

Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
JORDAN SARTOR-FRANCIS, NAVY
Jr., Jonesboro, Ga.
Sartor-Francis won both the 60-meter and 200-meter races with IC4A qualifying times at Navy's three-team meet on Saturday. He won the 60m in 6.95 seconds, and posted a time of 21.66 in the 200m. Both times place Sartor-Francis second in the Patriot League.

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
DEVIN SMITH, LAFAYETTE
Jr., Andover, N.J.
Smith placed 10th in the 400-meter dash at the Gotham Cup with a time of 56.53, coming in .11 seconds ahead of the ECAC qualifying standard. It was the best 400-meter time in the Patriot League this season by more than a second. She also anchored Lafayette's 4 X 400m relay team which placed seventh with a time of 3:56.82.

ADEOLU ADESIDA, LEHIGH
Sr., Princeton, N.J.
Adesida earns his second straight M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Field Athlete of the Week award after posting a mark of 2.15 meters to win the high jump at Lehigh's Angry Birds Invitational on Saturday. He had the same mark to take first place at the Army 5-Way on Jan. 10. Adesida ranks among the top 15 in the nation with his 2.15 meter high jump mark.

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE FEMALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
COURTNEY AVERY, LEHIGH
So., Wynantskill, N.Y.
Avery won the high jump with an ECAC qualifying mark for the second straight week after posting a leap of 1.70 meters at Lehigh's Angry Birds Invitational on Saturday. She won the event with a jump of 1.71 meters at the Army Five-Way on Jan. 10, and has the top high jump mark in the Patriot League this season.

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE MALE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JOHN CAMPBELL, NAVY
Fr., Amarillo, Texas
Campbell won the weight throw at Navy's three-team meet with a mark of 18.20 meters, easily topping the IC4A standard. The freshman has the second-best mark in the event in the Patriot League this season, and places in the top 15 in the region.

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BRIYAH BROWN, ARMY
Fr., New Rochelle, N.Y.
Brown is honored by the Patriot League for the third time in as many weeks to open her career after placing second in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying mark of 14.07 meters at the Beantown Challenge on Saturday. She was Army's highest finisher in any event at the invitational. Brown leads the Patriot League in both the shot put and weight throw this season, and now has a pair of M-F Athletic Rookie of the Week honors to go with two Field Athlete of the Week awards.

HONORABLE MENTION

TOM BUFFONE, NAVY Sr., Freehold, N.J.
Buffone won the shot put with a mark of 16.21 meters and placed second in the weight throw at 17.80 meters at Navy's three-team meet. He beat the IC4A standard in each event for the second week in a row.
