CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Feb. 9-15 in men and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, men and women's indoor track and field and men and women's tennis.
Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DAN TAYLOR, LEHIGH Sr., A, Calgary, Alberta
Taylor set a new career high with 10 points on five goals and five assists in the Mountain Hawks 14-11 win Saturday at Furman. The senior attack scored on every shot he took (5-for-5) and had a hand in seven straight Lehigh goals bridging the second through fourth quarters. Taylor scored the game-tying goal with 6:50 remaining in the fourth quarter which evened the score at 11 and also assisted on a big insurance goal with 1:47 left that made it 13-11.
CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PAT FRAZIER, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., D, North Bethesda, Md.
Frazier had another standout game on Saturday in the Greyhounds' 8-6 victory over No. 14 Penn State, holding his primary marking responsibility, Mike Sutton, to a single goal. The Loyola senior co-captain also posted career-highs with three caused turnovers and six ground balls. Tied for game-high honors as the Greyhounds forced Penn State into 22 turnovers.
CORVIAS GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
SAM GRINBERG, BUCKNELL Sr., GK, New York, N.Y.
Grinberg had a magnificent game in Bucknell's 7-5 win Saturday over No. 19/14 Bryant with 13 saves while allowing only five goals for a .722 save percentage. Eight of Grinberg's stops came in the second half of a close game, including a highlight-reel two-save flurry from point-blank range with the Bison clinging to a 6-4 lead.
CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ANTHONY ABBADESSA, COLGATE Fr., A, Phoenix, Ariz.
Abbadessa notched first career hat trick in just his second game as the Raiders defeated Vermont 10-8. Two of the freshman's goals were extra-man opportunities with assists both times from Matt Clarkson. Abbadessa assisted Clarkson on another extra-man goal, as the duo combined for 11 of Colgate's 18 points.

SEAN WILKINSON, HOLY CROSS Jr., A, Ridgefield, Conn.
Wilkinson led the Holy Cross offense with three goals and two assists as the Crusaders ended an eight-game losing streak to Fairfield with a 10-9 win.
BRIAN SHERLOCK, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., M, Nissequogue, N.Y.
Sherlock had a game-high four points (2G, 2A) in the Greyhounds' win on Saturday over No. 14 Penn State.
ALEX SPRING, BUCKNELL Jr., LSM, New York, N.Y.
Spring logged four ground balls and two caused turnovers to spearhead a strong defensive effort in Bucknell's 7-5 win over nationally-ranked Bryant
GREG WOZNIAK, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., LSM, Yardley, Pa.
Wozniak scored his first career goal, caused four turnovers and collected seven groundballs as BU improved to 2-0 with a 13-9 win over Canisius.
MICHAEL ORTLIEB, HOLY CROSS Jr., GK, Newport Beach, Calif.
Ortlieb made none of his 13 saves in the second half and allowed only three goals in the final 30 minutes as Holy Cross defeated Fairfield 10-9.
PAT MCENERNEY, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., GK, Olney, Md.
McEnerney made eight saves, including three in a 57 second span of the fourth quarter, in the Greyhounds 8-6 win over No. 14 Penn State.
Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
EMILY KOOKOGEY, BUCKNELL Sr., A, Lutherville, Md.
Kookogey posted a pair of four-point efforts to start the season for the Bison as she totaled seven goals and an assist in games against Wagner and Manhattan last week. Kookogey scored four goals, including the game-winner, to lead Bucknell to a 9-7 victory over Northeast Conference favorite Wagner on Tuesday. She followed it up with three goals and an assist in a 12-8 loss to Manhattan on Saturday. Kookogey becomes Bucknell's first Corvias Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week since 2008.
CORVIAS MIDFIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LOREN GENERI, NAVY Sr., A, Bayport, N.Y.
Generi began her senior year by filling the stat sheet for the Mids with eight goals, six assists, 26 draw controls, three ground balls and five caused turnovers through the first three contests of the season. She began with three goals, three assists, 11 draw controls, two ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 17-2 win over Longwood on Feb. 8, and put up four goals, an assist, 10 draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 21-6 victory at Liberty on Friday. Generi had a goal, two assists, a ground ball and five draw controls in Navy's 10-3 loss at No. 8 Duke on Sunday. She has moved within 32 draw controls of the Patriot League career record. Generi is named Corvias Patriot League Midfield Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career.
CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNIE FOKY, NAVY Sr., GK, Charlottesville, Va.
Foky had 17 saves and a .531 save percentage in winning two of her first three games of the season for the Mids. She made five saves in a 17-2 win over Longwood on Feb. 8, and had the same number in a 21-6 victory over Liberty on Friday. Foky tallied seven saves in Navy's 10-3 loss to No. 8 Duke on Sunday. She also tallied four ground balls and three caused turnovers over the three contests. Foky is named Corvias Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career.

GRETCHEN RICHTER, BUCKNELL Fr., A, Bronxville, N.Y.
Richter had an impressive collegiate debut as she scored three goals in Bucknell's 9-7 win over Wagner on Tuesday. She also collected four ground balls, notched a caused turnover and tallied four draw controls to help the Bison to the win. Richter added two caused turnovers as well as a ground ball and a draw control in a 12-8 loss to Manhattan on Saturday.

MADISON HOON, AMERICAN So., M, Sayville, N.Y.
Hoon had a career-high five goals, including the game-winner, and nine draw controls to lead the Eagles to a 16-12 win at Wagner on Saturday.
ALLY ADAMS, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., M, Severna Park, Md.
Adams had a career-high four goals, a ground ball and two caused turnovers in Boston University's 13-9 win over Siena.
JESSICA WOJCIECHOWSKI, AMERICAN Jr., A, Monkton, Md.
Wojciechowski matched a career high with four goals and also had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in American's 16-12 win at Wagner.
MALLORY COLLINS, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., A, Boston, Mass.
Collins had four goals, with three including the game-winner in the second half, while also notching two ground balls in BU's 13-9 win over Siena.
CODI MULLEN, NAVY Jr., A, Wading River, N.Y.
Mullen tallied five goals, two assists, two ground balls and a caused turnover in the first three games for Navy.

CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JON MAYER, BUCKNELL Jr., C, Dillsburg, Pa.
Mayer had a huge game to lead Bucknell to its first win over an ACC opponent since 2008 with a 16-12 victory at Wake Forest. He went 4-for-5 with two runs scored, two doubles and four RBIs to lead the Bison to the win. Mayer had his first four-hit game and reached base five times in six at bats. He also went 1-for-5 with a run, double and RBI in an 8-5 loss to Georgetown as he tied for the team lead with five hits and three doubles in the two games and led the way with five RBIs.
CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
LUKE GILLINGHAM, NAVY Jr., P, Coronado, Calif.
Gillingham had an unbelievable season debut with just one hit and no walks allowed in seven shutout innings and 16 strikeouts in an 8-1 win over North Carolina A & T in Navy's opener on Friday. Gillingham fanned the first 12 batters he faced through four innings, and had his no-hit bid broken up with two outs in the fifth with the only baserunner he allowed over seven innings. His 16 strikeouts were the most for a Navy pitcher since 1986 and tied him for fifth in a single game at the school. It was also just one off the Patriot League record of 17 that has been held by Army's Steve Reich since 1993.
CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JON ROSOFF, ARMY Fr., 3B, Durham, N.C.
Rosoff played a key role in a doubleheader sweep for the Black Knights on Saturday as he combined to go 6-for-11 with a home run and three runs scored in wins over Dayton and host USC Upstate. Rosoff batted 3-for-6 with a run in a 12-6 victory over Dayton, and went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in an 11-9 win over USC Upstate. He also had an RBI with two walks and two steals in a 5-4 loss to Xavier on Friday. Rosoff finished 6-for-14 with three runs scored, a home run, two RBIs, three walks and three steals in his first collegiate weekend.

MARK McCANTS, ARMY Sr., OF, Flower Mound, Texas
McCants went 7-for-15 with a home run, four runs scored and seven RBIs as Army took two out of three games over the weekend.
CONNOR DENEEN, NAVY Jr., OF, Tustin, Calif.
Deneen went 6-for-13 with a home run, five runs scored and four RBIs as Navy took two out of three games at North Carolina A & T.
ANTHONY CRITELLI, HOLY CROSS So., 1B, Holmdel, N.J.
Critelli hit safely in all three games against No. 23 Texas A & M and went 5-for-13 with two doubles, a run scored and five RBIs for the weekend.
Patriot League Softball Weekly Awards
CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KASEY MCCRAVEY, ARMY Jr., 3B, Scottsdale, Ariz.
McCravey was named to the Charleston Challenge All-Tournament Team and also played well in the First Pitch Classic as the Black Knights opened the 2015 season at a pair of southern tournaments. Over nine games the junior third baseman batted .452 (14-for-31) with three doubles, two home runs, six runs scored, eight stolen bases and 10 RBI. McCravey had multiple hits in six of the nine games and also knocked in two or more runs on three occasions.

DANA NIELSEN, BUCKNELL Jr., P, Pequannock, N.J.
Nielsen went 1-0 in four appearances, including two starts, with 11 strikeouts to just two walks as the Bison opened the season in the CSU Dome Tournament and the Pirate Clash. The Pequannock, N.J. native pitched the final two innings of Bucknell's 4-3 win over Toledo, holding the Rockets scoreless and earning the win when the Bison pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

HAILEY MEGGE, ARMY Fr., OF, Port Orange, Fla.
Megge was named to the Named to Charleston Challenge All-Tournament Team and had the top batting average among that field with .571 (8-for-14). The freshman outfielder hit safely in four of the first five games to start the year, including a 4-for-4 performance in the Black Knights loss to UMass-Lowell. Megge also scored twice and knocked in a run as Army went 2-3 in the Charleston Challenge.

Opened the season with a 2-2 record as the Black Knights competed in the Charleston Challenge and Charlotte First Pitch Classic.
EMILY FELBAUM, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., INF, Grafton, Mass.
Felbaum had two home runs against No. 21 Arizona State and followed with her third against Illinois State in the Littlewood Classic.
ERIN COX, BUCKNELL Sr., 1B, La Quinta, Calif.
Cox opened the season with a six-game hitting streak, going 10-19 with nine runs and six RBIs, in the CSU Dome Tournament and the Pirate Clash.

M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
STEVE SCHROEDER, NAVY Jr., Monticello, Ill.
Schroeder placed third in the 3,000-meter run at the Spire Invitational with a time of 7:57.16. He surpassed the IC4A standard by nearly 28 seconds and ran the 28th-fastest time in the nation in the event this season. Schroeder also surpassed his career high of 7:58.61 from two weekends ago. Schroeder won his second M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Week award of the season.

MORGAN ROCHE, BUCKNELL Sr., West Hartford, Conn.
Roche won the 1,000-meter run at the Bucknell Tune-Up with a converted time of 2:54.74, edging past the ECAC standard of 2:56.24. She was first among 10 competitors in the race.

Breen recorded the top shot put mark in the Patriot League this season as he tossed 16.74 meters to take second place, and first among collegiate athletes, at the Bucknell Tune-Up. It was the third-best toss in school history and easily surpassed the IC4A standard of 15.70 meters.

BRITTANY POWELL, LAFAYETTE Sr., Wilmington, Del.
Powell took third place (second collegiate) in the long jump at the Monmouth Invitational with an ECAC qualifying leap of 5.76 meters. The only mark better in the Patriot League this season is her own jump of 5.92 meters, and she remains the only Patriot Leaguer to surpass the ECAC standard of 5.70 meters. Powell earns her second M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week award of the year.

DAVID McGRIFF, LAFAYETTE Fr., Flemington, N.J.
McGriff finished fourth (third collegiate) in the shot put at the Monmouth Invitational with a mark of 15.79 meters, topping the IC4A standard of 15.70. He hit a personal best and cracked the top 10 in the Patriot League this season.

CHRISTINE BENDZINSKI, BUCKNELL Fr., Hebron, Conn.
Bendzinski won the 800-meter race at the Bucknell Tune-Up with a converted time of 2:12.30, racing past the ECAC standard of 2:14.44. She finished in first place out of 17 runners in the race. Bendzinski earns the M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week after receiving the Player of the Week honor last week.

Lupica won the 60-meter hurdles at the Bucknell Tune-Up in a time of 7.92 seconds, which is an IC4A qualifier and places him in the top 50 in the NCAA this season.
SIMON VOORHEES, LEHIGH Sr., Andover, Mass.
Voorhees won the mile with an IC4A qualifying converted time of 4:14.10 at the Bucknell Tune-Up.
TREVOR DUTTON, HOLY CROSS Sr., Burlington, Mass.
Dutton ran an IC4A qualifying time of 2:28.06 in the 1,000-meter run at the Valentine Invitational.

Wiles posted an IC4A mark of 2.04 meters and took second place in the high jump at the Monmouth Invitational.

ALEX VAN VELZER, ARMY Sr., Montgomery, Texas
Van Velzer went a combined 5-0 last week, finishing 2-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles action alongside sophomore Sam Lampman. Posted identical 6-1, 6-2 victories at No. 2 singles in the Black Knights wins over Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart. Teamed with Lampman at No. 1 singles against the Knights, Pioneers and Quinnipiac.
CORVIAS FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOHANNA HYOTY, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., Tampere, Finland
Hyoty was recognized as Player of the Week for the second consecutive time after posting wins at No. 1 singles and doubles in the Terriers 7-0 victory over Holy Cross. The 2014 Patriot League Women's Player of the Year won 6-2, 6-1 in singles against the Crusaders and teamed with sophomore Barbara Rodriguez for a 6-0 doubles victory.

CHRIS MATTURRI, LAFAYETTE Jr., Chatham, N.J.
Matturri dropped just five games in two matches last week at the fifth singles spot as the Leopards split matches with Saint Peter's and Hofstra.
CONNOR PIETRAK, LOYOLA MARYLAND Jr., Newtown, Pa.
Pietrak delivered the only win for the Greyhounds on Sunday with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles against the University of Mary Washington.
