Patriot League Weekly Awards 2.9.15 
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Feb. 2-Feb. 8 in men's lacrosse, men and women's indoor track and field as well as men and women's tennis.
Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
COLE JOHNSON, ARMY So., A, Bellevue, Wash.
Johnson led the Black Knights to their first win over UMass since 1996, leading all goal scorers in the game with four tallies in a 12-7 victory on Saturday. The sophomore had a natural hat trick in the first quarter to give Army a 5-0 lead after the first 15 minutes and added another goal in the second quarter to break his personal best of three goals set in a game against Furman last season.
CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GREG WOZNIAK, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., LSM, Yardley, Pa.
Wozniak caused a game-high six turnovers and led a BU defense that held Mercer to just one goal in the first half and just six overall in an 18-6 win. The sophomore also helped a much-improved transition game spark the Terrier offense and contributed one assist in addition to his stellar defensive work.

BRANDON BURKE, COLGATE So., GK, Potomac, Md.
Burke, last season's Patriot League Rookie of the Year, picked up right where he left off with an 11-save effort in Colgate's 9-5 win at No. 14 Bryant. The sophomore limited the Bulldogs to just one fourth-quarter goal to allow the Raiders to build upon a 5-4 lead entering that quarter.

JACK WILSON, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., A, Manlius, N.Y.
Wilson led all Patriot League players in scoring in the opening weekend with five goals in his collegiate debut. The freshman attack recorded the game's opening goal in an 18-6 win over Mercer and also collected two of the Terriers' five man-up markers.

PATRICK KEENA, NAVY Jr., A, Vienna, Va.
Keena paced Navy with a career-high 9 points on 2 goals and 7 assists in the Mids' season-opening win 21-7 over VMI.
ALEX HEYWARD, NAVY Sr., DM, Charlotte, N.C.
Heyward was part of a defense that surrendered just 2 goals on 5 shots in the opening half of a 21-7 win over VMI.
CHRISTIAN CARSON-BANISTER, BOSTON U. So., GK, Dallas, Texas
Carson-Banister made seven of his saves in the first half to help BU hold Mercer to just one goal in the opening 30 minutes of an 18-6 victory.
PAT FRAZIER, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., D, North Bethesda, Md.
Frazier turned in an outstanding one-on-one performance in holding Virginia's preseason All-American James Pannell without a point in a 13-12 loss to the Cavaliers.

ANDREW GARCIA-GARRISON, BUCKNELL Sr., Detroit, Mich.
Garcia-Garrison ran another outstanding race in the mile as he clocked an IC4A qualifying time of 4:02.56 to finish fifth out of 66 runners at the Meyo Invitational held at the University of Notre Dame. He hit the mark just one week after breaking Bucknell's school record with a time of 4:02.35. Garcia-Garrison earns his second M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Week award.
M-F ATHLETIC PATRIOT LEAGUE FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
CHRISTINE BENDZINSKI, BUCKNELL Fr., Hebron, Conn.
Bendzinski ran an ECAC qualifying time in the mile with a mark of 4:53.28 to finish 18th out of 72 runners at the Meyo Invitational. She ran the fastest time in the Patriot League this season and moved into third on Bucknell's all-time list. Bendzinski also ran the qualifying leg of Bucknell's distance medley relay which finished in an ECAC qualifying time of 11:55.18.

ADEOLU ADESIDA, LEHIGH Sr., Princeton, N.J.
Adesida took first place in the high jump at the Giegengack Invitational held at Yale as he posted an IC4A qualifying mark of 2.12 meters. The mark was .07 meters ahead of any other Patriot Leaguer this season, and just off his season high of 2.15. Adesida wins the M-F Athletic Patriot League Male Field Athlete of the Week award for the third time this season.

BRIYAH BROWN, ARMY Fr., New Rochelle, N.Y.
Brown played a key role in Army's 94-87 victory over rival Navy by taking first place in the shot put with an ECAC mark of 14.11 meters and finishing third in the weight throw at 14.32 meters. The shot put mark is better than any other Patriot Leaguer this year and .35 meters off her personal best. Brown now has three M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week awards to go with three Rookie of the Week honors this season.

LEE BARES, ARMY Fr., Lakeville, Minn.
Bares won the pole vault against rival Navy with an IC4A qualifying leap of 5.10 meters. The career-best mark places him behind only Navy's Jiles Maness in the Patriot League, and Bares topped Maness in the competition on Saturday.

EFE AGEGE, BUCKNELL Fr., Los Angeles, Calif.
Agege earns the M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week award for the second straight time after posting an ECAC qualifying mark of 12.44 meters in the triple jump at the Meyo Invitational. She has the best mark in the event in the Patriot League by .69 meters, and beat her own personal high from last week by .39 meters.

ELIZABETH WEILER, LEHIGH Jr., Chester Springs, Pa.
Weiler won the 3,000-meter run at the Giegengack Invitational with a time of 9:45.18, qualifying for the ECACs with the best mark in the Patriot League this season.
COURTNEY AVERY, LEHIGH So., Wynantskill, N.Y.
Avery had an ECAC qualifying high jump of 1.74 meters to take first place at the Geigengack Invitational and just miss her season high by .01 meters.
SOPHIA NNADI, BUCKNELL Jr., Columbus, Ohio
Nnadi won the shot put at the Youngstown State National Invite with an ECAC qualifying mark of 13.97 meters.
MEGHAN HARVEY, NAVY Jr., Nottingham, Pa.
Harvey won both the 1,000-meter run and 4 x 800m relay with ECAC qualifying times in Navy's matchup against rival Army.
HALEY WINTERS, ARMY Jr., Spanaway, Wash.
Winters contributed 15 of Army's 94 points in its seven-point victory against Navy with first-place finishes in the 60-meter, 200-meter and 4 X 400m relay.
TOM BUFFONE, NAVY Sr., Freehold, N.J.
Buffone won the shot put and finished second in the weight throw with IC4A marks in each event in Navy's 102-79 win over Army.
STEVE SCHROEDER, NAVY Jr., Monticello, Ill.
Schroeder took first place in both the mile and 1,000-meter run with IC4A qualifying times in each race in Navy's 102-79 win over rival Army.
JACK FELLOWS, BUCKNELL Sr., Cumberland Center, Maine
Fellows had an IC4A mark of 16.51 meters in the shot put at the Meyo Invitational.
NICHOLAS LOMBARDO, BUCKNELL Fr., Darien, Conn.
Lombardo won the long jump with an IC4A qualifying mark of 7.08 meters, the best in the Patriot League this season, at the Youngstown State National Invite.
JOHN CAMPBELL, NAVY Fr., Amarillo, Texas
Campbell won the weight throw with an IC4A standard of 18.03 meters in Navy's victory over Army.

CORVIAS MALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CALVIN MARK, NAVY Sr., Union City, Calif.
Mark posted a 5-0 record on the week, with each of the wins being played at the No. 1 flight. The senior was 2-0 in singles matches in wins over James Madison and Villanova and teamed with Blake Daniel for doubles victories over those same opponents plus Morgan State. Daniel won four of five singles sets on the week and all three doubles sets. The Mids are now 9-1 on the season after recording a trio of wins last week.
CORVIAS FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOHANNA HYOTY, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., Tampere, Finland
Hyoty recorded one of the biggest singles wins in program history on Sunday when she knocked off Boston College's 61st-nationally ranked Jessica Wacnik (3-6, 7-5, 1-0) in one of her two victories at No. 1 singles against ranked opponents last week. The sophomore also beat North Texas' Kseniya Bardabush, a 2014 C-USA All-Conference First Team honoree, in three sets. Hyoty's win over Wacnik, the Northeast Region's top-ranked player, was the first win over a top-100 player since 2010.

BEN GERBER, BUCKNELL Fr., Chapel Hill, N.C.
Gerber remained unbeaten on the spring with a perfect 5-0 week, winning a pair of singles matches and three doubles contests.
LISA JOURAVLEVA, BUCKNELL Fr., Franklin Lakes, N.J.
Jouravleva went 2-0 at No. 2 singles last week, including a three-set win over Richmond's Melissa Kandinata, a two-time First Team All-A10 selection and former conference Rookie of the Year.
JEREMY KOCHMAN, LEHIGH Jr., Brooklyn, N.Y.
Kochman won both singles and doubles matches in the Mountain Hawks wins over Drexel and Saint Francis (Pa.).
BRIANA MARAVICH, LEHIGH Fr., Moorestown, N.J.
Maravich won singles matches against Drexel and Saint Francis (Pa.) to improve to 4-0 on the season.
AMANDA KELLER, NAVY Fr., Jacksonville, Fla.
Keller was the lone Mid to go 2-0 in singles in Navy's sweep of George Mason and Morgan State.
