CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for March 9-15 in men and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and men and women's tennis on Monday.

Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ZACH HERREWEYERS, LOYOLA MARYLAND
Jr., A, London, Ontario
Herreweyers tied his career-high with six goals, scoring half of Loyola's goals in a 12-10 win at No. 13 Army. The junior scored two within the first five minutes of the game and added two more in both the third and fourth quarters against a Black Knights defense that entered the contest as the second-ranked scoring defense in NCAA Division I. Herreweyers goal with 9:48 left in regulation proved to be the game-winner and he tacked on a goal late to provide the final margin.

CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PAT FRAZIER, LOYOLA MARYLAND
Sr., D, North Bethesda, Md.
Frazier had four groundballs and a game-high three caused turnovers while drawing primary marking responsibilities for John Glesener in the Greyhounds 12-10 win at No. 13 Army. Frazier and the Loyola defense teamed to snap Glesener's 21-game streak with at least one goal - the fourth longest in the nation - as the Patriot League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year recorded his lone point on an assist.

CORVIAS GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
GRANT LIMONE, LOYOLA MARYLAND
Fr., GK, Weston, Conn.
Limone set a career-high with 18 saves in just his third collegiate start on Saturday in a 12-10 victory at No. 13 Army. The freshman made saves on 18 of the 28 shots on goal he faced, turning away 64.3 percent of those attempts -- including two in the final 2:05 with the Greyhounds hanging on to a 12-10 lead.

CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK WILL SANDS, BUCKNELL Fr., A, Locust Valley, N.Y.
Sands racked up nine points on three goals and six assists during Bucknell's 15-6 rout of No. 20 Holy Cross on Saturday. At one point, the freshman either scored or assisted on seven straight Bucknell goals, including the first five of a 6-0 run that turned a 4-4 tie into a commanding 10-4 Bison lead. Sands also contributed a goal on a pretty diving shot Tuesday in a 10-9 win over Fairfield.

HONORABLE MENTION

DAVID DICKSON, BUCKNELL Sr., M, Greenwich, Conn.
Dickson scored three goals and added seven assists as Bucknell earned victories over Fairfield and No. 20 Holy Cross.

BEN KELLAR, BUCKNELL Sr., D, Glyndon, Md.
Kellar totaled four ground balls and forced five turnovers as the Bison defense held both opponents to single digits in wins over Fairfield and No. 20 Holy Cross.

JOHN CONNORS, NAVY Jr., GK, Bellmore, N.Y.
Connors turned away three point blank shots by Lehigh Saturday as the Mids held off the Mountain Hawks to complete a 2-0 week.

JOHN TRAINOR, NAVY So., SSM, Northport, N.Y.
Trainor scored his first career goal against Lafayette and contributed to the Mids defensive efforts in wins over the Leopards and Lehigh.

Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KARA BURKE, LOYOLA MARYLAND
Sr., A, Timonium, Md.
Burke combined for six goals, four assists and three draw controls as she played a key role in a pair of victories for the Greyhounds. She starred in a 13-12 overtime win at No. 8 Virginia on Wednesday by notching three goals and three assists along with two draw controls. Burke had a hand in six of the 10 goals for the Greyhounds in regulation to finish with a career-high six points, and won key draw controls late in regulation and in overtime. Burke followed it up with another hat trick as she posted three goals and an assist in a 16-6 win over Lafayette on Saturday. She stands second on the team with 14 goals and five assists this season, and ranks in the top 10 in the Patriot League in both goals and points.

CORVIAS MIDFIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LOREN GENERI, NAVY
Sr., A, Bayport, N.Y.
Generi continues her amazing run to start the season as she earns a fifth-straight Corvias Patriot League Midfield Player of the Week award after recording six goals, two assists, seven draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball in a 21-4 win over Bucknell on Saturday. She has scored at least one goal in 19 straight games, and has recorded at least two points and five draw controls in each of Navy's nine contests this year. She leads the Patriot League in goals (31), assists (18), points (49) and draw controls (76). Generi becomes just the second student-athlete in Patriot League women's lacrosse to win any weekly award five consecutive times, joining former teammate Jasmine DePompeo who won five straight Offensive Player of the Week honors in 2013. Generi earns her ninth career Corvias Patriot League Midfield Player of the Week award, one behind Lafayette's Ana White (2011-14) for the most overall.

CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JENNIE BERGLIN, COLGATE
Sr., GK, Glen Head, N.Y.
Berglin had a strong game with nine saves, four ground balls and a caused turnover to lead Colgate to a 13-7 win at Lehigh in Patriot League action on Saturday. She came up big in the first half with six saves as Colgate trailed only 4-2 at intermission despite being outshot 15-7 in the half. Berglin also led all players in ground balls in the contest. She is named Corvias Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JENNIFER DeSIMONE, AMERICAN
Fr., A, Middletown, Md.
DeSimone totaled three goals, two assists, a ground ball and four draw controls as the Eagles split a pair of games last week. She began the week with a goal and two assists along with three draw controls as American posted a 12-4 win over Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday. DeSimone followed it up with two goals, a ground ball and a draw control in a 15-10 loss to Holy Cross on Saturday. The three points on Wednesday and two goals on Saturday were both season highs for the freshman.

MEGAN ARK, COLGATE Sr., A, Rochester, N.Y.
Ark had four goals and three assists to lead Colgate to a 13-7 win at Lehigh on Saturday.

KATE MARTINO, HOLY CROSS Jr., A, Summit, N.J.
Martino had six goals in a 15-10 win at American on Saturday, and totaled eight goals and an assist in two games last week.

HANNAH SCHMITT, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., A, Malvern, Pa.
Schmitt scored all three of her team's overtime goals in a 13-12 win at No. 8 Virginia on Wednesday and totaled six goals and an assist in two wins last week.

JESSICA WOJCIECHOWSKI, AMERICAN Jr., A, Monkton, Md.
Wojciechowski totaled eight goals in two games last week, scoring four in a 12-4 win over Mount St. Mary's and adding four more in a 15-10 loss to Holy Cross.

KATIE GALLAGHER, NAVY Jr., A, Bel Air, Md.
Gallagher had three goals and two assists in Navy's 21-4 win over Bucknell on Saturday.

LAURA RYAN, HOLY CROSS Sr., M, Stirling, N.J.
Ryan put up three goals, three assists, four ground balls and six draw controls as Holy Cross split a pair of games last week. She now holds the school record with 174 career draw controls.

MOLLY WOLF, LOYOLA MARYLAND Jr., GK, Baltimore, Md.
Wolf made seven saves in each of Loyola's two wins last week, and totaled five ground balls and three caused turnovers in the victories.

Patriot League Baseball Weekly Awards

CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KRIS LINDNER, ARMY
So., 2B, Morehead, N.C.
Lindner was the sparkplug in Army's three-game sweep of Massachusetts as he went 5-for-9 (.556) with five runs scored for the weekend in Tampa. The leadoff hitter had at least one hit and one run scored in each of the three victories. He went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in a 9-2 triumph in Saturday's nightcap, and went 2-for-3 with a run scored in a 2-1 victory to cap the sweep on Sunday. Lindner also drew a walk and stole two bases in the three contests.

CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
LUKE GILLINGHAM, NAVY
Jr., P, Coronado, Calif.
Gillingham continued his amazing 2015 campaign by throwing a nine-inning shutout in a 1-0 victory over NYIT on Saturday. He allowed only two first-inning hits and walked one while striking out 15, one shy of his season and career high. Gillingham retired 19 straight batters from the first through eighth inning, with 11 of those coming via the strikeout. He threw the first shutout of his career and improved to 3-0 with a 0.47 ERA this season while leading the nation with 65 strikeouts. Gillingham earns his third Corvias Patriot League Pitcher of the Week award of the season.

CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CAM O'NEILL, HOLY CROSS
Fr., INF, Lynn, Mass.
O'Neill had another strong week for the Crusaders as he went 6-for-11 (.545) with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBIs as Holy Cross won two out of three contests. O'Neill had three-hit games in each of the victories, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored, a double and an RBI in a 9-4 triumph at Central Connecticut on Tuesday before a 3-for-3 effort with a double, run scored, two RBIs and a walk in a 6-0 win over St. John's in Sunday's opener. O'Neill leads Holy Cross and ranks third in the Patriot League with a .418 batting average for the season. He is named Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second straight time and third this season.

ALEX ROBINETT, ARMY Sr., P, Bend, Ore.
Robinett struck out 12 in a seven-inning complete game while allowing one run on five hits and two walks in a 5-1 win over Massachusetts on Saturday.

DONNY MURRAY, HOLY CROSS Sr., P, Walpole, Mass.
Murray threw six scoreless innings while scattering five hits and striking out four in a 6-0 victory over St. John's on Sunday.

ROBERT CURRIE, NAVY Jr., CF, Atlanta, Ga.
Currie hit 10-for-24 (.417) with six runs scored, two doubles, a triple and eight RBIs as Navy won five of its six games last week.

MIKE GARZILLO, LEHIGH Jr., 2B, Wind Gap, Pa.
Garzillo went 9-for-22 (.409) with a home run, seven RBIs and three runs scored in six games for Lehigh.

GREG WASIKOWSKI, BUCKNELL Sr., SS, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Wasikowski went 6-for-15 (.400) with four runs scored, a home run and three RBIs as Bucknell went 3-2 in five contests in Florida last week.

BEN LOWE, NAVY Fr., 1B/P, Memphis, Tenn.
Lowe went 3-for-8 with a home run and five runs scored in three appearances last week while also allowing one run in four innings on the mound in a start in a 3-2 win over Towson on Wednesday.

Patriot League Softball Weekly Awards

CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BRITTANY YOUNAN, BOSTON U.
So., 3B, Chico, Calif.
Younan had a solid week as the Terriers leadoff hitter with 13 hits in 21 at-bats plus three walks for a .619 batting average and .667 on base percentage. The sophomore also stole eight bases and scored nine runs as Boston University wrapped up a Florida trip with a 5-2 mark over the past week. Younan had at least two hits in five of the seven games, including 2-for-2 with RBI and two runs scored in a 4-3 win against Iowa State.

BRIGIT LEUTER, COLGATE
Jr., P, Wilmette, Ill.
Leuter recorded one shutout and combined with Kira Griswold on another as the Raiders went 3-2 at the USF Tournament in Tampa, Fla. The junior scattered three hits and walked two in Colgate's 4-0 victory over Hartford on Friday and then went 5.2 innings on Saturday in a 3-0 win over Seton Hall. Leuter improved to 3-1 on the season and lowered her ERA to 2.73.

CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
NICOLE YOZZO, LEHIGH
Fr., OF, Pleasanton, Calif.
Yozzo had four multi-hit games, scored five runs and stole six bases as the Mountain Hawks completed their final week in Florida with a 6-2 record, including a 4-0 mark in the USF Spring Break Tournament. The freshman had a .444 batting average for the week, with 12 hits in 27 at-bats. Yozzo leads Lehigh with 13 runs scored on the season and is batting .518 over 16 games.

KASEY MCCRAVEY, ARMY Jr., 3B, Scottsdale, Ariz.
McCravey was 7-for-17 with four runs scored and four RBI for the Black Knights over six games in the Michele Smith Spring Break Tournament.

CYDNEE SANDERS, BUCKNELL Sr., SS, Magnolia, Texas
Despite missing three games with an illness, Sanders was 9-for-15 with six RBI and three runs scored as the Bison wrapped up the Rebel Spring Games in Florida.

KATIE BUSHEE, COLGATE So., OF, San Marcos, Calif.
Bushee was 7-for-16 with five runs scored and had at least one hit in each game as the Raiders went 3-2 in the USF Tournament.

CHRISTINE CAMPBELL, LEHIGH Sr., P, San Diego, Calif.
Campbell post wins in three contests and saves in two others as Lehigh finished a 16-game trek through Florida.

Patriot League Tennis Weekly Awards

CORVIAS MALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NICK BYBEL, BUCKNELL
Jr., Lancaster, Pa.
Bybel stretched his singles winning streak to nine matches with a perfect 5-0 mark at No. 1 singles during the Bison spring trip to Florida. The junior improved to 26-3 during the fall and spring seasons to tie his own program record for single season victories. Bybel has also moved to within three of Bucknell's all-time record of 76 career wins.

CORVIAS FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
IRYNA KOSTIRKO, BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Fr., Mississauga, Canada
Kostirko was the only Terrier in the top three slots to win all three singles matches in victories last week over Southern Miss, Western Kentucky and Florida International. The freshman won in straight sets in two of the matches and outlasted Western Kentucky's Andrea Christopoulou 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 at No. 3 singles in a third. Kostirko also teamed with Kim McCallum for a 2-1 mark at No. 3 doubles.

CHRISTINA AUYEUNG, LEHIGH Fr., Midland, Mich.
Auyeung was 3-1 at No. 1 singles and teamed with Jamie Campisi to go 2-2 at No. 1 doubles as the Mountain Hawks went 2-2 in Florida.

ANIA KRAWIEC, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., Lumberton, N.J.
Krawiec posted straight set wins in singles against Hofstra and Coppin State as the Greyhounds split a pair of matches on Sunday.

CONNOR PIETRAK, LOYOLA MARYLAND Jr., Newtown, Pa.
Pietrak was 2-0 at No. 4 singles and teamed with Reid Burch for a pair of wins at No. 2 doubles as the Greyhounds split with Shepherd and Hofstra.

LOGAN ANTILL, NAVY Jr., Butler, Pa.
Filling in for injured Sam Droop at No. 1 singles, Antill posted a decisive 6-1, 6-1 win over the Blue Hens Arielle Shuren.
