Patriot League Weekly Awards - 3.9.15 
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for March 2-8 in men and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and men and women's tennis on Monday.
Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ADAM SCHAAL, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., A, Collegeville, Pa.
Schaal scored the Terriers first five goals of the game to set a new career high in the program's first-ever win over a ranked opponent. The sophomore found the back of the net on all five shots he took against the No. 18 Raiders to help lead BU to its best offensive output ever in a Patriot League game. Schaal had previously scored five goals over the team's first five games this season. One of his goals came during a man-down situation early in the second quarter to give BU a 5-3 lead.
CORVIAS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SAM TALKOW, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., M/FO, Delray Beach, Fla.
Talkow had a career day at the faceoff X, winning an NCAA-best 26 faceoffs and nearly 79 percent of the faceoffs he took to help lead the Terriers to a road win over the No. 18 Raiders. The sophomore went 7-of-7 in the third quarter to help BU open up a three-goal lead. He collected 18 ground balls on the afternoon, which is tied for the most in the NCAA this season for a single game. Talkow also added two points thanks to a goal and an assist.
CORVIAS GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
SAM GRINBERG, BUCKNELL Sr., GK, New York, N.Y.
Grinberg logged 14 saves in Bucknell's 9-8 overtime road win over Lehigh on Saturday. Of those 14 stops none were bigger than his save on Billy Oppenheimer's tricky bounce shot from 12 yards out with 1:15 remaining in overtime. Grinberg collected the rebound, Bucknell cleared, and then scored the winning goal with 8.9 seconds left in OT.
CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JACK WILSON, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., A, Manlius, N.Y.
Wilson continued his fantastic freshman campaign with another terrific performance on Saturday at No. 18 Colgate. The Manlius, N.Y. native tallied three goals and added two assists for five points. He scored back-to-back goals in the third quarter to break a 9-9 tie and give BU a crucial two-goal cushion. Wilson followed that with an assist on the next goal, which proved to be the game-winner.

RYAN JOSEPH, BUCKNELL Sr., M, Smithtown, N.Y.
Joseph recorded his third hat trick and fourth multi-goal game of the season in Bucknell's 9-8 overtime win at Lehigh.
ALEX SPRING, BUCKNELL Jr., LSM, New York, N.Y.
Spring led all players with eight ground balls in Bucknell's 9-8 overtime win at Lehigh, and he spearheaded a Bison defense that kept the Mountain Hawks scoreless for the final 23:26 of the contest.
MICHAEL ORTLIEB, HOLY CROSS Jr., GK, Newport Beach, Calif. Ortlieb made 12 saves and posted a .667 save percentage in the Crusaders' 7-6 win versus No. 9 Army.
CHRIS FENNELL, NAVY So., D, Milford, N.J.
Fennell held Towson's high-scoring Spencer Parks to an assist and two shots in Navy's 8-7 triple overtime win over the 14th-ranked Tigers.
Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
CORVIAS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LAURA RYAN, HOLY CROSS Sr., M, Stirling, N.J. Ryan totaled six goals and three assists in two games last week, and played a key role in Holy Cross' 12-11 triple overtime win at Colgate with four goals and two assists in the Patriot League victory. Ryan also notched a ground ball, three draw controls and two caused turnovers in the win over the Raiders. She had two goals, an assist, a ground ball and five draw controls in a 17-6 loss to No. 3 Boston College on Tuesday. Ryan is ranked second in school history and eighth in the Patriot League record book with 168 draw controls, and is just three away from the Holy Cross record held by Patricia Sutton (2004-07). Ryan earns the Corvias Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award for the first time.
CORVIAS MIDFIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LOREN GENERI, NAVY Sr., A, Bayport, N.Y.
Generi becomes the first student-athlete to earn the Corvias Patriot League Midfield Player of the Week award four straight times as she has captured every honor so far this season. Generi earns her latest award after two more strong performances in Navy victories as she combined for six goals, six assists, seven ground balls, 14 draw controls and two caused turnovers in a pair of wins last week. Generi started with two goals, two assists, four ground balls, six draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 14-3 win over George Washington on Tuesday, and in the process became the Patriot League's career leader in draw controls by surpassing the previous record of 398. Generi then started League action with four goals, four assists, three ground balls and eight draw controls in a 20-5 win at Lafayette on Saturday. Generi is the all-time Patriot League leader with 409 draw controls, and has top-10 spots in League history in goals and points while sitting just two assists away from the top 10. Generi is named Corvias Patriot League Midfield Player of the Week for the eighth time in her career.

CAROLINE MEEGAN, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., GK, Timonium, Md.
Meegan posted a pair of strong performances in goal as Boston University won twice at home last week. She made eight saves in a 13-7 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday, and opened Patriot League action with 10 saves to lead the Terriers to a 13-5 win over American on Saturday. Meegan leads the Patriot League with a .512 save percentage and is second with 8.8 saves per game, ranking in the top 25 nationally in each category. Meegan earns her first Corvias Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week award after claiming the Rookie of the Week honor twice last season.

HALEY O'HANLON, COLGATE Fr., M, Garden City, N.Y.
O'Hanlon totaled six goals, four draw controls and two ground balls in a pair of games for the Raiders last week. She posted a pair of goals with two draw controls and a ground ball in an 11-5 loss to Cornell on Wednesday, and came through with a season-high four goals along with two draw controls, a ground ball and a caused turnover to help Colgate stay close in a 12-11 triple overtime loss to Holy Cross on Saturday. O'Hanlon leads Colgate with 13 points and is tied for the team lead with 10 goals through five games.

KATIE GALLAGHER, NAVY Jr., A, Bel Air, Md.
Gallagher had seven goals, three assists, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in two wins for the Mids last week.
ALLY ADAMS, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., A, Severna Park, Md.
Adams had five goals and an assist in a 13-5 victory over American on Saturday.
ANNIE FOKY, NAVY Sr., GK, Charlottesville, Va.
Foky recorded 10 saves with a .556 save percentage in two wins for the Mids.

CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MARK McCANTS, ARMY Sr., OF, Flower Mound, Texas
McCants batted .461 with a home run, three runs scored and seven RBIs to help Army take three out of four games against Mount St. Mary's and Coppin State over the weekend. He went 3-for-7 with a double and three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep over the Mount on Friday, and batted 3-for-6 with a double, home run, four RBIs and three runs scored in a split against Coppin State on Saturday. McCants is named Corvias Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week for the first time.
CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
STEPHEN MOORE, NAVY Sr., P, Roswell, Ga. Moore allowed just an unearned run in seven innings on the hill to lead Navy to a doubleheader sweep with a 7-1 win over Iona on Sunday. He allowed three hits and a walk while striking out four in the contest. Moore improved to 3-0 with a 1.82 ERA in 24.2 innings for the season, and passed 150 strikeouts for his career in Sunday's victory. He is named Corvias Patriot League Pitcher of the Week for the first time.
CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CAM O'NEILL, HOLY CROSS Fr., INF, Lynn, Mass. O'Neill hit .333 with a home run, six RBIs and three runs scored in eight games for the Crusaders last week. He had a pair of three-hit performances as well as a pair of two-RBI games, and also went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 9-3 win over Western Carolina on Saturday. O'Neill hit his first career home run in a 5-4 loss to Gardner-Webb on Tuesday. He batted 10-for-30 for the week, and leads Holy Cross with a .393 batting average (22-for-56) for the season. O'Neill earns his second Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.

ROBERT CURRIE, NAVY Jr., CF, Atlanta, Ga.
Currie hit .545 (6-for-11) with two triples, three runs scored and four RBIs as Navy won all three of its games last week.
ANTHONY RINALDI, LEHIGH Jr., OF, Secaucus, N.J.
Rinaldi went 4-for-4 with a triple, a home run, five RBIs and two runs scored in a 9-2 win over Saint Joseph's on Sunday.
ALEX ROBINETT, ARMY Sr., P, Bend, Ore.
Robinett allowed only an unearned run while scattering four hits over six innings of an 11-1 win over Mount St. Mary's on Friday.
EVAN OCELLO, HOLY CROSS Sr., OF, Camarillo, Calif.
Ocello had a hit in all eight games for the Crusaders last week, batting .312 (10-for-32) with nine runs scored, three doubles, a home run, seven RBIs and five stolen bases.
ANTHONY GINGERELLI, BUCKNELL Sr., OF, Worcester, Mass. Gingerelli went 5-for-10 with a double and three runs scored as Bucknell split a doubleheader on Sunday.
Patriot League Softball Weekly Awards
CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
EMMA WONG, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., OF, Solana Beach, Calif.
Wong batted 9-of-16, finishing with at least two hits in three of the games, as Boston University participated in the FGCU Spring Break Classic. The freshman had two runs, two RBIs and two stolen bases that helped BU overcome a five-run deficit and force extra innings against Long Island. Wong also scored a pair of runs in the Terriers 11-2 win over Quinnipiac.
CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
EMILY BAUSHER, LEHIGH Sr., P, New Egypt, N.J.
Bausher did not allow a run and earned a pair of wins for the Mountain Hawks in the Rebel Spring Games. The senior scattered five hits over 10 innings against Presbyterian and Akron, walking only one while striking out 14. Bausher limited opponents to a .143 batting average and registered her second straight complete game shutout, and 17th of her career, against Presbyterian.

SAVANNAH YOUNG, HOLY CROSS Fr., C, Celebration, Fla. Young had eight hits in 12 at-bats as the Crusaders opened the season with five games in Louisiana. The freshman had a pair of doubles, scored twice and knocked in two runs in a 7-2 win over Southern. Young also had a home run and three RBI against Nicholls State and leads Holy Cross with a .667 batting average.

LAUREN HYNES, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., P, San Diego, Calif.
Hynes picked up her first win of the season against Quinnipiac and also held Pittsburgh to just four hits and one unearned run over seven innings in a 1-0 loss.
AMANDA FAZIO, BUCKNELL Jr., P, Chatham, N.J.
Fazio allowed only one hit over four innings, striking out eight in the Bison 8-0 win over Presbyterian.
SARAH KANE, HOLY CROSS Jr., SS, Jacksonville, Fla.
Kane had five hits, scored five runs and drove in three as the Crusaders opened the season with five games in Louisiana.
MORGAN DECKER, LEHIGH Jr., 3B, Jamison, Pa. Decker had five hits, including a home run and pair of doubles, and drove in five runs as the Mountain Hawks went 4-0 in Hawks in the Rebel Spring Games.
Patriot League Tennis Weekly Awards
CORVIAS MALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CALVIN MARK, NAVY Sr., Union City, Calif.
Mark was 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles as the Mids split matches with College of Charleston and Delaware. Mark posted Navy's lone singles win and teamed with Blake Daniel for the only doubles victory in a 6-1 loss to College of Charleston. The senior needs two wins to tie and three to break the Navy record for the most career combined victories in dual matches.
CORVIAS FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SUMMER RALSTON, NAVY So., Roswell, Ga.
Ralston clinched Navy's 5-2 win over Marist with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Callie Morlock at No. 3 singles and was the first Mid to win a singles match in Navy's 5-2 win over Towson. The sophomore also teamed with Claudia Mackenzie to win a pair of games in a 6-2 loss to William & Mary's the nationally 48th-ranked duo of Leeza Nemchinov / Jeltje Loomans at No. 1 doubles.

EVA SUNG, ARMY Jr., Pittsburgh, Pa.
Sung captured wins at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles in the Black Knights 6-1 win over Siena.
JACOB DAUGHERTY, COLGATE Fr., Burke, Va.
Daugherty won two matches at No. 1 singles and paired with Tom Haile for two victories at No. 1 doubles as the Raiders swept Hartord and Lemoyne.
BRANDON GOLDSTEIN, LAFAYETTE Sr., Livingston, N.J. Goldstein helped the Leopards post a 5-2 win over Rider with victories at No.1 singles and No. 1 doubles.
