CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Feb. 22-28 in women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and men and women's tennis on Monday.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
AMY JOHNSTON, ARMY WEST POINT So., A, Salt Lake City, Utah
Johnston led the Black Knights to a pair of close wins by filling the stat sheet with five goals, four assists, six ground balls, 14 draw controls and two caused turnovers in victories over LIU Brooklyn and UMass Lowell. She contributed to seven of Army West Point's goals in a 10-9 win over LIU Brooklyn on Thursday by scoring three and assisting on four, and also notched two ground balls, eight draw controls and a caused turnover in the win. She won a draw late in the game before scoring the game-winner with four seconds to go. Johnston followed it up with two goals, four ground balls, six draw controls and a caused turnover in a 10-8 victory at UMass Lowell on Sunday. Johnston stands fourth in the Patriot League with 16 points and leads all players with 22 draw controls.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
JENNA COLLINS, NAVY So., M, Clarksville, Md.
Collins had identical stat lines in a pair of wins for the Mids last week as she totaled six goals, two assists, six ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers in victories over Villanova and Liberty. Collins notched three goals, an assist, three ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in a 12-9 win over the Wildcats on Wednesday, and had the same numbers minus one draw control in Saturday's 21-7 victory over the Flames. She has scored a point in 16 consecutive games and a goal in seven straight, and has a hat trick in three of Navy's five contests this season.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MOLLY WOLF, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., GK, Baltimore, Md.
Wolf made 10 saves in each of Loyola's contests last week, helping the Greyhounds to an 8-7 win in double overtime at No. 16 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. She added three groundballs in the win over Johns Hopkins and made five saves in overtime to help Loyola pull out the win in a matchup of top-20 squads. Wolf also made 10 saves in a 9-5 loss to Towson on Sunday to mark the 18th double-digit save performance in her career, and third in four contests this season. She finished with a .556 save percentage in the two games.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
EMMA NOVICK, LAFAYETTE Fr., A/M, New Canaan, Conn.
Novick scored four goals to lead the Leopards to a 15-7 win over Binghamton on Tuesday, and added another in a loss to Temple on Saturday. The freshman is off to an outstanding start with a point in her first four collegiate games, and is tied for the Patriot League lead with 14 goals on the season.

LaBeau notched five goals and an assist in Lehigh's 12-3 win over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.

Hornick totaled six goals, two assists and four ground balls in a pair of wins for the Black Knights.
JULIA MALONEY, HOLY CROSS So., GK, Loudonville, N.Y.
Maloney made 13 saves to keep Holy Cross close in an 8-7 loss to Bryant on Tuesday.
EVE LUKOWSKI, BUCKNELL So., A, Ellicott City, Md.
Lukowski had a career-high four goals on five shots in Bucknell's 12-8 loss to Villanova on Saturday.

Gallagher totaled four goals and three assists in a pair of wins for the Mids last week.

JOHN MCCARTHY, ARMY WEST POINT So., OF/1B, Jupiter, Fla.
McCarthy went 6-for-13 with a home run, 10 RBIs, four runs scored, three doubles and three steals as the Black Knights played three games in Tennessee over the weekend, including a 9-1 win at Middle Tennessee on Friday. McCarthy was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs, two runs scored and two steals in that victory. He then went 3-for-4 with a run, two RBIs, a double and a steal in an 8-6 loss at Lipscomb on Saturday and hit his first career home run, a three-run shot, while driving in five in a 20-7 loss at Belmont on Sunday. McCarthy leads the Patriot League for the season with his 10 RBIs.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
GEORGE COUGHLIN, NAVY Jr., P, Arvada, Colo.
Coughlin had a dominant outing against Air Force on Saturday as he pitched seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk and striking out nine in a 5-0 victory. He helped Navy secure the Freedom Classic title as the Mids went on take two of three from the Falcons. It was the second-longest scoreless outing of his career, and the nine strikeouts were also the second-most for Coughlin in his 20 career starts.

TRAVIS CLONEY, HOLY CROSS Fr., OF, Wall, N.J.
Cloney made the most of his first career start by going 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a double in a 12-11 loss at William & Mary on Sunday. He helped Holy Cross to its top offensive performance of the season.

Ashey threw 4.1 perfect innings of relief with six strikeouts to help Lehigh rally for a 7-6 win over Norfolk State on Monday.

Mortensen allowed three hits over six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in Army West Point's 9-1 win over Middle Tennessee on Friday.

MEGHAN KOVAC, BUCKNELL So., 1B, Warren, N.J.
Kovac earns her second-straight Corvias Player of the Week honor after another week of impressive work at the plate and on the field. The sophomore connected for 14 hits during her 21 at bats, knocking in a total of six runners while scoring five of her own. The first baseman had multiple hits in each of the five games played and committed no errors. Kovac went 4-of-5 in the Bison's 12-4 win over UNCW, scored two runs, and swiped a base. She finished the week with a. 667 on-base percentage, hitting .667, and slugging .905.

CINDY CHERNESS, BUCKNELL Sr., P, Torrance, Calif.
Cherness recorded six hitless innings, including a five-inning no-hitter against NC Central. The senior first appeared in the circle for one inning of work against the Eagles and faced four batters, walking one and striking out another. She then completed the no-hitter to help the Bison to an 8-0 win in five frames. Cherness faced just 15 batters, striking six out and walking one.

BROOKE WENSEL, LAFAYETTE Fr., SS, Bechtelsville, Pa.
Wensel garners her second Corvias Rookie of the Week honor after helping the Leopards to a 2-2 week. The freshman was productive at the plate, hitting the game-tying sac fly in the seventh inning of Sunday's game against UMES to send the game to extra innings. She collected a total of five hits on 11 at bats to average .455, during Lafayette's four games. The shortstop also did not commit an error in 15 chances.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANDREW HICKS, NAVY Fr., Haddon Heights, N.J.
Hicks went 4-0 on Saturday at No. 3 singles and doubles against Rider and Coppin State. Playing with teammate Cameron Kirkpatrick in both doubles flights, the duo captured a pair of 6-1 wins. The rookie won in straight sets against the Broncs and the Eagles, tallying a 6-4,6-2 win over Rider's Brandon Gildea and a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Coppin State's Andres Diaz.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CAROLYN PITMAN, ARMY WEST POINT Sr., West Chester, Ohio
Pitman went 2-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles over the weekend against Fordham, NJIT, and Marist. Against Marist on Friday, picked up a win at the top doubles flight with teammate Kirby Einck, 6-4, then captured a second with Einck at No. 2 against Fordham, 6-1. Pitman grabbed her first singles win of the weekend over Fordham's previously unbeaten Estelle Wong, a second team Atlantic 10 selection last year, at No. 1 (6-0, 6-3). She concluded her weekend with two wins versus NJIT at No. 2 doubles with teammate Nancy Porter 6-5 (7-5) and then at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-1. Pitman now has 97 career doubles victories and is in a second-place tie with Megan Noble on the all-time list in Army West Point program history.

JAY LEELAVANICH, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., Canoga Park, Calif.
Leelavanich won at No. 1 singles over MIT's Alex Cauneac (7-5, 6-2) and also earned a win at No. 1 doubles over the Engineers with teammate Jake De Vries, 7-5.
CHRISTINA AUYEUNG, LEHIGH So., Midland, Mich.
Auyeung captured a pair of victories at No. 1 doubles and at No. 1 singles against Villanova and Kutztown. She played with teammate Jamie Campisi, earning a 7-5 win against the Wildcats and 6-0 win over the Golden Bears.
