CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for March 7-13 in women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and tennis on Monday.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
EVE LUKOWSKI, BUCKNELL So., A, Ellicott City, Md.
Lukowksi contined to score at a high rate as she racked up six goals and five assists in a pair of contests for the Bison last week. She totaled four goals and an assist in a 17-16 loss to Monmouth on Wednesday, and followed it up with two goals and four assists in a 21-12 win at St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday. Lukowski also contributed four draw controls, a ground ball and a caused turnover in the two games. Lukowski has 18 goals and 15 assists on the season for a Patriot League-leading 33 points.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
JILL HORKA, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., M, Westborough, Mass.
Horka totaled four goals and 14 draw controls as Boston University split a pair of games last week, including a 14-4 win in its Patriot League opener at American on Tuesday. Horka scored twice in that contest while also racking up eight draw controls and a caused turnover. She scored two goals with six draw controls, a ground ball and caused turnover as BU pushed No. 19 Johns Hopkins to the limit before falling 13-12 on the road on Friday. Horka has notched at least six draw controls in three straight games, and her average of 4.17 draw controls per game is tied for first in the Patriot League.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADDY LESHER, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., D, Gladwyne, Pa.
Lesher had a strong game with four caused turnovers and four ground balls to lead a stifling defensive effort as Loyola knocked off No. 8 Virginia by a 7-6 final at home on Wednesday. The Greyhounds limited the Cavaliers to six shots in the first half as Loyola built a 4-1 lead, with Virginia's only goal coming on a free-position shot. Lesher held Virginia's Kelly Reese, who was averaging five shots and more than two goals per game, to no shots in the contest while forcing two of her four turnovers including one in the final minutes after the Cavaliers had closed the gap to 7-6. Lesher has 16 ground balls for the season, and leads the Patriot League with an average of 3.2 ground balls per contest.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KRISTEN YANCHORIS, LOYOLA MARYLAND Fr., D, Sykesville, Md.
Yanchoris had three caused turnovers and two ground balls to help lead Loyola to a 7-6 win at home against No. 8 Virginia on Wednesday. She played all 60 minutes without committing a foul, and one of her caused turnovers led to a Loyola goal as the Greyhounds opened an early 4-0 advantage. She helped the Greyhounds hold down a Virginia offense that was averaging 12.5 goals per game coming into the contest.

CAROLINE MEEGAN, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Jr., GK, Timonium, Md.
Meegan had a total of 24 saves as Boston University split its two games last week, with 14 stops in a 14-4 win over American in the Patriot League opener on Tuesday.
MADDY BLAKEMAN, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., A, Vero Beach, Fla.
Blakeman scored three goals to help Loyola build a 5-1 lead as the Greyhounds went on to a 7-6 win over No. 8 Virginia on Wednesday.
COURTNEY HENIG, LEHIGH Fr., A, Millstone, N.J.
Henig posted four goals and an assist in Lehigh's 16-5 win at Liberty on Saturday.
MADDY MOLINARI, BUCKNELL Jr., M, Manhasset, N.Y.
Molinari totaled six goals, two assists, four ground balls and six draw controls in Bucknell's two contests last week.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRAVIS BLUE, NAVY Jr., SS, Orange, Calif.
Blue went 10-for-20 with five runs scored and eight RBIs in five contests for the Mids, with multiple hits in each of the games as Navy went 4-0-1 for the week. He had an RBI in four of the five games, with top efforts coming in the two doubleheader openers against Yale as Blue went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs on Saturday and finished 2-for-5 with two runs and four RBIs on Sunday to lead Navy to victories. Blue boosted his batting average for the season to .365 with 15 RBIs after the big week.

MATT BALL, ARMY WEST POINT So., P, Charlotte, N.C.
Ball did not give up an earned run in seven innings of work to lead Army West Point to a 10-3 win over Massachusetts on Saturday to complete a doubleheader sweep. He gave up just three hits and one walk with two unearned runs while striking out six in the effort to pick up his first win of the season. Ball tied the longest outing by a Black Knight pitcher this year, and retired nine straight hitters in the middle innings.
CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JOSH WHITE, ARMY WEST POINT Fr., 2B, Littleton, Colo.
White went 7-for-14 with two runs scored and two RBIs in four games for the Black Knights last week. He had multiple hits in all three of Army West Point's weekend matchups with Massachusetts, going 4-for-6 with a double, run scored and an RBI in Saturday's doubleheader sweep. The freshman has started all 14 games this season and is batting .279 with nine runs scored and five RBIs.

BRENDAN KING, HOLY CROSS Jr., P, Brookline, Mass.
King struck out 12 batters while giving up just an unearned run on five hits in taking a no-decision in a 4-3 loss to South Florida on Saturday.
LUKE GILLINGHAM, NAVY Sr., P, Coronado, Calif.
Gillingham did not allow an earned run over seven innings with five strikeouts in Navy's 8-2 win over Yale on Saturday.
STEVEN COHEN, LAFAYETTE So., SS, Newtown Square, Pa.
Cohen went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored in Lafayette's 7-6 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson.
ETHAN FROHMAN, LEHIGH Fr., P, Berkeley Heights, N.J.
Frohman pitched 5.1 shutout innings out of the bullpen with four strikeouts and only four hits allowed in Lehigh's 5-4 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday.

CORVIAS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TAYLOR MOSS, HOLY CROSS So., 1B, Howard Beach, N.Y.
Earning the first Corvias Player of the Week of her collegiate career, Moss hit safely in seven of Holy Cross' eight games last week, which included a six-game hit streak. The sophomore also tallied multiple hits in six of the games and recorded the lone hit in the Crusaders' 2-0 loss to Creighton. In 24 at bats, Moss connected on 14 to average .583, while knocking in a total of eight runs.
CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
LAUREN HYNES, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Sr., P, San Diego, Calif.
Hynes allowed five earned runs across 27.2 innings of work in the circle for the Terriers, finishing last week with a 1.27 ERA. The senior began the week by limiting San Diego State -- a 2015 NCAA regional finalist -- to just one earned run in six innings of a 2-0 loss. In addition, she helped Boston University snap UC Riverside's 11-game win streak by holding the Highlanders to just four hits and one run. Hynes helped her own cause this week, going 4-for-12 at the plate with two RBI.
CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ASHLEY YOO, ARMY WEST POINT Fr., OF, Placentia, Calif.
After going hitless in the Black Knights' 7-6 win over Quinnipiac, Yoo recorded multiple hits in each of the next four games to finish the week batting .563 (9-for-16). She knocked in three runs for Army West Point and also scored four of her own. The freshman started all five games for the Black Knights and had five putouts in centerfield. In Army's 3-2 loss to USC Upstate on Sunday, Yoo recorded two of the team's three hits and scored a run.
HONORABLE MENTION
ALEE RASHENSKAS, ARMY WEST POINT Jr., INF, St. Anne, Ill.
Rashenskas hit safely in all five of the Black Knights' games last week, recording multiple hits in four of the contests. At the plate, she averaged .588 and slugged .765.
CHRISTINA MARTINEZ, BUCKNELL Jr., C, Wayne, N.J.
Martinez led the Bison to a pair of victories over Florida A&M and Drexel, hitting 4-for-5. The junior was 1-or-1 with a single and a sac bunt in Bucknell's 3-0 win over the Rattlers and followed up with a 3-for-4 plate appearance that included a double and two RBIs against the Dragons.
ALEXIS WATANABE, LEHIGH Sr., 2B, San Marino, Calif.
Wantanabe scored at least one run in the Mountain Hawks' four games last week, finishing with a .462 average. The senior recorded one of Lehigh's three hits against FGCU and didn not commit an error in 14 chances at second.
DANA NIELSEN, BUCKNELL Sr., P, Pequannock, N.J.
Nielsen pitched a complete game shutout over Florida A&M on Sunday to help the Bison to a 3-0 win. The senior gave up just two hits in seven innings, while walking three and striking out six.
CHRISTINE CAMPBELL, LEHIGH Jr., P, San Diego, Calif.
Campbell tossed complete games against FGCU and Purdue, allowing just two earned runs in each outing for a 2.00 ERA. The junior also tallied four strikeouts and improved her record to 6-2 with the 8-3 win over the Boilermakers.

CORVIAS MALE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SATYAJIT SIMHADRI, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., Saratoga, Calif.
Simhadri went 3-1 in singles play for the Terriers last week, capturing wins at No. 4 against The Citadel, College of Charleston and Francis Marion. The freshman's lone loss of the week in singles was to defending MEAC champion South Carolina State's No. 3 player Vladyslav Yanchenko. Simhadri also played at No. 3 doubles with teammate Jeff Chan, going 1-1 with a 6-3 win over The Citadel.
CORVIAS FEMALE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
IRYNA KOSTIRKO, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., Mississauga, Canada
Kostirko went 5-1 this weekend, which included a 3-0 performance in singles play. The sophomore played at No. 2 singles and earned a three-set win over Gonzaga's Samantha Polayes (6-4, 0-6, 6-3) and added a straight-set victory over Liberty's Anna Dollar (6-4, 6-3). In addition, she posted a comeback win over Loyola Marymount's Andrea Crespo at No. 3 singles (4-6, 6-3, 6-2). Kostirko also went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles with teammate Barbara Rodriguez, defeating Liberty 6-3 and Loyola Marymount 6-2.
HONORABLE MENTION
JEREMY KOCHMAN, LEHIGH Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.
Kochman grabbed a pair of top-flight wins, helping the Mountain Hawks defeat Villanova 6-1. The senior helped clinch the doubles point for Lehigh with a tiebreak, doubles win at No. 1 with Ricardo Prince 7-6(2). He then followed up with a three-set victory over Chris Seitz 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.
AMANDA LANCIANO, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., Haddonfield, N.J.
In the Greyhounds' 7-0 sweep of Saint Peter's, Lanciano earned a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles with Megan Hahn and then won in straight sets at No. 1 singles over Elena McLain 6-0, 6-3.
