CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Feb. 29-March 6 in women's lacrosse, baseball and softball on Monday.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
ALLISON LABEAU, LEHIGH Jr., A, Mountain Lakes, N.J.
LaBeau contributed to eight of her team's goals by scoring four and assisting on four others in Lehigh's 14-11 win over Iona on Saturday. LaBeau was at her best late in the first half as Lehigh took a 12-6 lead at intermission, scoring two straight goals and then assisting on two others as part of a 4-0 run that gave the Mountain Hawks the six-goal lead. She assisted on Lehigh's first goal of the second half and scored the insurance marker in the final minute after Iona had closed the Mountain Hawk lead to two. LaBeau had a career-high eight points and went over the 100-point mark for her career (107). She leads Lehigh with 13 goals and 21 points for the season, and stands second in the Patriot League in both goals and points per game.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
GRETCHEN RICHTER, BUCKNELL So., M, Bronxville, N.Y.
Richter tallied three goals, an assist, six draw controls, a ground ball and a caused turnover to help Bucknell to a 19-11 win over Manhattan on Saturday. She started fast with two goals in the opening minute as Bucknell built an early lead and never trailed in the contest. Her six draw controls helped Bucknell to a 20-11 edge in the category, and brought her season total to 14 during a 3-1 start for the Bison.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MOLLY DOYLE, NAVY Sr., D, Ivyland, Pa.
Doyle played a key role in a great defensive performance for Navy by recording three ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control in a 9-1 win over George Washington on Wednesday. The Mids held the Colonials off the board until just over five minutes remained in the contest and led 7-0 by that point to cruise to the win. Doyle added two ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control as Navy fell 17-9 at No. 14/15 Boston College on Saturday. She leads the Patriot League in both ground balls (18) and caused turnovers (12) for the season.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
HANNAH POWERS, LOYOLA MARYLAND Fr., A, Skaneateles, N.Y.
Powers had a hand in five of her team's goals by scoring two and assisting on three in Loyola's 11-8 loss at No. 8 Penn State on Saturday. Her personal-high five points were the most for any Greyhound this season, and helped keep her team close as Powers scored Loyola's first goal and assisted on the next two to even the score at 3-3 and later had a goal and an assist as part of another 3-0 run as the Greyhounds grabbed a 7-6 lead that lasted until just under 11 minutes to play in the contest.

CHRISTINA MANIS, BUCKNELL Jr., A, Manhasset, N.Y.
Manis had a career-high eight points with four goals and four assists in Saturday's 19-11 win at Manhattan.

JENNA COLLINS, NAVY So., M, Clarksville, Md.
Collins had six goals, seven draw controls and four caused turnovers in two games last week, and tied a career high with four goals in a loss at No. 14/15 Boston College on Saturday.

MADDY LESHER, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., D, Gladwyne, Pa.
Lesher helped keep Penn State preseason All-American Madison Cyr in check and tallied four ground balls and two caused turnovers in Loyola's 11-8 loss to the Nittany Lions on Saturday.

KIRSTEN WILHELMSEN, LAFAYETTE Jr., A, Wallingford, Pa.
Wilhelmsen totaled seven goals and four draw controls as Lafayette went 1-1 in its action last week.

MADISON HOON, AMERICAN Jr., M, Maplewood, N.J.
Hoon had a combined five goals and six draw controls as American split a pair of games last week.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALEX VOITIK, HOLY CROSS Jr., C, Shorewood, Ill.
Voitik helped Holy Cross to a 10-7 win at Furman on Sunday by belting a pair of solo home runs and going 3-for-4 with four runs scored in the contest. One day prior, he went 2-for-4 in a 5-2 loss to the Paladins as Voitik finished at 5-for-8 (.625) at the plate in the two games. After the two-home run effort, Voitik now leads the Patriot League with three homers on the season.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
DAVID BEDNAR, LAFAYETTE Jr., P, Valencia, Pa.
Bednar was brilliant in his start on Friday at Davidson, pitching seven shutout innings while allowing only three hits and two walks and striking out five in the outing. The Leopards could not hold the lead in the ninth inning as Davidson rallied for a 2-1 win, but Bednar turned in the longest scoreless outing of his career and retired the side in order three times.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
DAN LECKIE, LAFAYETTE Fr., OF, Suffield, Conn.
Leckie had a solid week for the Leopards by going 8-for-21 (.381) with four runs scored, four RBIs and two doubles in five contests. He did most of his damage in Lafayette's two victories, posting a 1-for-3 effort with two runs scored, an RBI, two walks and a stolen base in a 6-3 win over Rider on Tuesday and going 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs in a 14-9 win at Davidson on Saturday. Leckie also had a 2-for-6 effort with a double and an RBI in a 2-1 loss at Davidson on Friday, and had a hit in Lafayette's first four contests of the week. He is batting .353 for the season and leads the team with 12 hits and four doubles.

MIKE CASTELLANI, BUCKNELL Jr., P, Avon, Conn.
Castellani allowed one run on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts in seven innings of work as Bucknell went on to beat Notre Dame 6-5 in 11 innings on Saturday.

JEFF GOTTESMAN, BUCKNELL Fr., P, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Gottesman gave up one run on two hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in six innings on the hill in Bucknell's 2-0 loss to Brown on Friday.

KEVIN LONG, LEHIGH Sr., P, Hatboro, Pa.
Long did not allow an earned run and struck out five batters over five innings to take a no-decision in a 4-2 loss at Marshall on Saturday.

STEVEN COHEN, LAFAYETTE So., SS, Newtown Square, Pa.
Cohen batted 6-for-17 (.353) with five runs scored, four RBIs, two doubles and four walks in Lafayette's five games last week.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MORGAN DECKER, LEHIGH Sr., 3B, Jamison, Pa.
Decker had an outstanding week that culminated with setting the Lehigh school record by belting the 26th home run of her career. In her team's five contests at the Winthrop Invitational, Decker batted 10-for-14 (.714) with three home runs, eight RBIs, five runs scored, two doubles and five walks. She started off with two-hit games in losses to Kentucky and Winthrop and a win over Albany, with an RBI in each contest and a solo home run in the middle matchup. Decker went 1-for-2 with a home run, three RBIs, two runs scored and three walks in an 8-5 victory over Charlotte, and batted 3-for-3 with a home run, double, two RBIs and two runs scored in a 9-0 win over Albany. She had at least one hit and one RBI in all five games of the Winthrop Invitational, and has four home runs and 17 RBIs in 10 games for the Mountain Hawks this season.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
AMANDA FAZIO, BUCKNELL Sr., P, Chatham, N.J.
Fazio gave up only one earned run in 13.2 innings of work over four games for the Bison last week, putting up a 2-1 record as Bucknell split its four contests overall at Delaware's Blue Hen Blast. She allowed an unearned run on five hits and no walks with seven strikeouts over five innings of work in an 11-1 win over Delaware, and pitched a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a 6-0 triumph against Delaware State. Her only run allowed came in relief against the Blue Hens. Fazio struck out 15 hitters and did not walk a batter in her 13.2 innings of work, and she became Bucknell's career leader with 366 strikeouts.

CORVIAS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
RENE POIRIER, ARMY WEST POINT Fr., P, Plainville, Mass.
Poirier gave up just one earned run in 16 innings in the circle as she helped the Black Knights go 3-2 at the Patriot Classic. She took a pair of hard-luck losses in two starts, giving up two unearned runs on six hits over eight innings of work in a 2-1 defeat against Marist and two runs, one earned, in six innings in another 2-1 loss against George Mason. Poirier also came out of the bullpen to pitch a scoreless inning with two strikeouts and pick up the save in 4-3 wins over both of the squads.

ANNA GIMMESTAD, BUCKNELL Fr., SS, Plymouth, Minn.
Gimmestad went 6-for-13 with three doubles, four runs scored and six RBIs as Bucknell split four contests at Delaware's Blue Hen Blast.

ASHLEY YOO, ARMY WEST POINT Fr., OF, Placentia, Calif.
Yoo went 4-for-13 with four runs scored, two doubles and an RBI in a 3-2 week for the Black Knights.
