Patriot League Announces Men's Tennis Academic Honor Roll

Center Valley, Pa. – The nine Patriot League members combined to place 62 student-athletes on this year’s Men’s Tennis Academic Honor Roll announced on Thursday. 
 
Four student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll earned a 4.0 grade-point average in the spring semester: Lafayette junior Chris Kim (Chemistry and Mathematics), Lehigh freshman Jack Martin-Dyer (Business), Navy freshman Ian Landwehr (Undeclared), and Navy junior Walker Sims (History). In addition, all six student-athletes that received Academic All-League honors last month appear on the honor roll, including the Patriot League Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year Thomas Pecor (Navy).
 
Loyola University Maryland held the distinction of the most honor roll selections with 12. Bucknell and Navy were next with eight while Army West Point and Lafayette each had seven. Lehigh had six and Boston University and Colgate both had five student-athletes and Holy Cross rounded out the group with four.
 
A total of nine seniors received Academic Honor Roll recognition in all four years: Army’s Cameron Voigt (Mathematical Sciences), Boston U.’s Jake De Vries (Journalism) and Mario Sandoval (Human Physiology), Bucknell’s Bryan Adams (Economics/Mathematics), Colgate’s Bobby Alter (History) and Dean Koman (Economics), Lehigh’s Tyler Hansen (Finance), and Loyola’s John Rast III (Business) and Max Shanbrom (Business).
 
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championship sports.
